In the India-market price snapshot available for this comparison, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G (12GB/256GB) was listed at ₹50,999 on Amazon, while vivo’s X200T (12GB/256GB) was ₹59,999 on its official store—a nominal ₹9,000 difference. The vivo selection was marked out of stock, and the prices were not matched retailer offers, so treat them as snapshots rather than guaranteed current prices. On specifications, realme emphasizes a larger 144Hz display and higher stated battery capacity; vivo specifies a higher-tier chipset, faster wired charging, wireless charging, and longer update durations reported by a comparison page.
Price difference and configurations
The compared prices are for 256GB storage, but both phones also have other configurations. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G is listed in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB variants; vivo lists the X200T in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants. Compare the same RAM and storage before buying, and check the selected variant at checkout.

Performance: vivo has the stronger specification
The Dimensity 9400+ makes the vivo the performance-led choice on paper compared with the realme’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. A third-party comparison also reports higher benchmark figures for vivo, but those figures are not a controlled independent test. Sustained performance, gaming frame rates, heat, and battery drain cannot be settled by chipset names alone.
Display: realme is larger and specifies a higher refresh ceiling
realme lists a 6.8-inch-class AMOLED display with a maximum 144Hz refresh rate; vivo lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel at 120Hz. Both specify 2800-by-roughly-1280-class pixel dimensions. The realme is the more appealing specification for buyers who want a larger screen or the higher refresh ceiling, but the numbers alone do not establish brightness, color accuracy, or visibility outdoors.
Rank #2
- The larger 6.9-inch display enhances productivity and media consumption, giving extra room for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and immersive viewing without feeling unwieldy in hand.
- Camera improvements focus on ultra-wide performance, capturing more detail at the edges of the frame and reducing distortion, making landscape shots, group photos, and architecture photography cleaner.
- Refined gesture controls and haptic feedback make interactions feel more precise, so scrolling, tapping, or switching between apps is smoother and more satisfying compared to previous Plus models.
- Audio enhancements optimize speaker output for spatial awareness, delivering clearer separation between instruments and voices in music, video playback, and FaceTime calls without relying on headphones.
- Durable yet lightweight materials balance heft and portability, with a subtly textured back and reinforced edges that improve grip while maintaining the premium appearance expected from the Plus series.
Cameras: compare the camera systems, not just megapixels
The rear arrangements differ: realme pairs a 200MP OIS main camera with a 50MP OIS telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide, while vivo lists three 50MP rear cameras. The realme also lists a 50MP front camera versus 32MP on vivo. Those resolutions do not prove which phone takes better photos or video. Sensor behavior, lens choices, stabilization, processing, and sample results matter; no controlled camera comparison is available here.
Battery and charging: capacity and charging speed point in different directions
realme specifies a larger typical battery capacity of 7,000mAh, compared with 6,200mAh for vivo. vivo lists higher wired charging wattage—90W versus up to 80W—and also supports 40W wireless charging. Capacity and rated wattage do not by themselves establish real-world battery life or charging time, which depend on usage and charging conditions.

Protection and software support
vivo specifies IP68 and IP69 ingress protection under IEC 60529 and cautions that resistance can diminish with daily use. A comparable official ingress rating was not confirmed on the realme specification page reviewed, so the available information does not support treating the two phones as equally rated for water and dust resistance.
A third-party comparison page reports longer OS and security update durations for vivo: five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates, compared with three and four years respectively for realme. Treat these as comparison-page figures rather than manufacturer-confirmed promises unless you verify the policies with each maker for the exact India models.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X200T if you prioritize the higher-tier specified chipset, 90W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, or the longer update durations reported by the comparison page.
- Choose the realme 16 Pro+ if you prioritize the lower observed 256GB listing price, larger 144Hz display, higher stated battery capacity, or higher-resolution main and front cameras.
For either phone, make the final call using the live price and stock for the same RAM/storage configuration. If camera quality, sustained gaming performance, or battery endurance is decisive, specifications alone are not enough to rank them reliably.
