The Galaxy S25 is the smaller, lighter option, while the Nothing Phone (3) gives you a larger screen and a four-camera system advertised as four 50MP cameras. On historical US list and launch prices, the 256GB Nothing Phone (3) was $60.99 less than the 256GB Galaxy S25. Those figures date to 2025, so they do not establish which phone costs less today.

These are manufacturer specifications, which can vary by market or configuration. They identify what each company claims; they are not independent comparative tests. Samsung’s figures are from its Galaxy S25 announcement, and Nothing’s from its Phone (3) product page.
Which phone is better for screen size and portability?
Choose the Galaxy S25 for a compact phone
Samsung lists the S25 with a 6.2-inch display and a 162 g body measuring 70.5 × 146.9 × 7.2 mm. That makes it the more compact choice on the published figures, especially for someone who prefers a smaller handset.
Choose the Nothing Phone (3) for a larger display
Nothing lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1260 × 2800 resolution and 460 ppi. The larger panel may suit users who want more screen area, but screen size and resolution alone do not establish overall display quality or viewing experience.

How do their camera systems compare?
The Galaxy S25 has three distinct rear camera specifications: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. Samsung also lists a 12MP front camera. Its dedicated telephoto specification is the clearest differentiator for someone who values optical zoom.
Nothing describes Phone (3) as having a four-camera 50MP system. That headline does not mean all four cameras have the same purpose or deliver equivalent image quality. Megapixel counts alone cannot determine which phone takes better photos; the available manufacturer specifications do not establish a camera-quality winner.

Do the processors make one phone faster?
Samsung identifies the Galaxy S25 family’s processor as Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, while Nothing lists Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for Phone (3). These chip names are useful identifiers, but without comparable independent benchmarks or testing they do not prove which phone performs better in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads.
What do the battery and charging specifications show?
Samsung states that the Galaxy S25 has a 4,000mAh typical-capacity battery and can reach about 50% charge in around 30 minutes using a 25W adapter. Samsung says the adapter and cable are sold separately.

Nothing advertises Phone (3) wired charging from 1% to 50% in under 20 minutes, as well as 15W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging. The cited Nothing product page does not establish the phone’s battery capacity. Charging claims alone do not show how long either phone lasts on a charge, so the available figures do not support an endurance winner.
What is the price difference?
The comparable historical US figures are for the 256GB models: Samsung listed the Galaxy S25 at $859.99, while Nothing’s US pre-order terms listed Phone (3) at $799 for 12GB/256GB. On those 2025 figures, the Nothing model was $60.99 less.

The manufacturer figures are historical, not current street prices: Samsung’s list sheet says prices may change without notice, and Nothing’s prices relate to a defined pre-order period. For a current comparison, check listings in the same country for the same storage capacity, condition, and seller type. Do not compare prices across countries; for example, Samsung’s UK guide lists an £799 RRP for the Galaxy S25, which is not directly comparable with US-dollar pricing. See Samsung UK’s Galaxy S25 guide.

- Pick the Galaxy S25 if a compact, lighter phone and a specified 3× optical telephoto camera matter most to you.
- Pick the Nothing Phone (3) if you prefer its larger 6.67-inch display or want the listed wireless and reverse-wireless charging features.
- Compare current prices in your market before deciding on value: the available $60.99 difference is based on dated US figures for 256GB configurations, not a current quote.
Neither processor label establishes a performance winner, and the published battery information is insufficient for an endurance comparison. The best fit depends on whether compactness and a dedicated zoom lens matter more to you than a larger screen and the charging features Nothing lists.
