At the listed U.S. prices available on October 4, 2026, the Pixel 10a costs $599 and the Galaxy A37 5G starts at $449.99—a nominal $149.01 difference. The Pixel is the smaller phone and supports wireless charging; the A37 has the larger screen and a higher reported wired-charging rate. Neither is a clear winner for every buyer: the better choice depends on price in your market, preferred size, charging habits, and software-support priorities.
Price difference: Pixel 10a costs more at the listed U.S. prices
Google’s U.S. Store listed the Pixel 10a from $599 for 128 GB when checked on October 4, 2026. AT&T listed the Galaxy A37 5G at a U.S. retail starting price of $449.99. That makes the displayed starting prices $149.01 apart, but it is not a like-for-like unlocked comparison: the prices come from different retailers, and AT&T’s advertised monthly offer depends on a new line, eligible service, and a 36-month agreement. The Pixel price also recently changed. Android Central reported on October 2, 2026, that Google’s U.S. listed price rose from $499 to $599 for 128 GB and from $599 to $699 for 256 GB; the Google Store listing confirmed the $599 starting price at the time of comparison. The reason for the increase has not been established. Samsung’s global announcement does not provide a U.S. price in the specifications consulted here, so the A37 figure above is specifically AT&T’s listing, not a universal price. Google says a 45 W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately, is required for its stated fast-charge behavior. A charging wattage is a supported rate, not a guarantee of a particular charge time; actual results can depend on the charger, cable, and conditions. Choose the Pixel 10a for a smaller phone and wireless charging
The Pixel is shorter, narrower, and lighter than the A37, and it supports Qi-certified wireless charging. Its 6.3-inch display may also be easier to manage if you prefer a more compact handset. The trade-off is the higher listed U.S. starting price in this comparison.

Choose the Galaxy A37 for a larger screen and faster reported wired charging
The A37’s 6.7-inch display gives you more screen area than the Pixel’s 6.3-inch panel. Android Central reports support for up to 45 W wired charging on the A37, compared with up to 30 W on the Pixel. These are different phones with different charging specifications; the figures alone do not establish comparative real-world charging times.
Compare software support and configuration before buying
Android Central reports seven years of OS upgrades for the Pixel 10a. Samsung’s stated A37 commitment is up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates, with timing varying by model and market. If RAM or storage is a deciding factor, check the specific local listing: Samsung’s A37 configurations vary, while the Pixel’s listed storage tiers both have 8 GB of RAM.

Do not use megapixels to declare a camera winner
The A37 adds a 5 MP macro camera and has a 50 MP main camera; the Pixel has a 13 MP ultrawide compared with the A37’s 8 MP ultrawide. Those specifications describe different camera setups, not image quality. Android Central said its comparison had not tested the A37 camera, and no controlled side-by-side camera results are established here. There is likewise no established head-to-head benchmark or battery-endurance test to support a performance or battery-life winner.
