Start with the seller that took your order: Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop, Pokémon Center, or another retailer. Each has a different way to check. Pokémon Legends: Z-A was announced for release on October 16, 2025, so this guide is for checking an existing preorder or resolving an order, not placing a preorder before release. The Pokémon Company announced the release date.

Find the order using the seller’s lookup

Use the account or email address used at checkout. If you are unsure where you ordered, search your inbox and spam folder for a confirmation email; it may identify the seller and contain an order number or a link to order status.

Nintendo Store account order

  1. Sign in to the Nintendo Account used to place the order.
  2. Open Nintendo Store, select your account name, then choose Order history.
  3. Find the order and select View details to see its details and any tracking information.

Nintendo’s order lookup instructions cover account orders and guest orders.

Nintendo Store guest order

  1. Open Nintendo’s order lookup page.
  2. Enter the order number, billing last name, and billing ZIP or postal code.

Use the billing name and postal code from checkout, not the shipping details. Nintendo says the order number is in the confirmation email. If you cannot find that email, contact Nintendo support.

Pokémon Center guest preorder

Use the appropriate regional Pokémon Center Order Status page and enter the order ID and postal code used at checkout. The Pokémon Center FAQ lists order-status routes for the US, Canada, and UK. It says a shipping-confirmation email with tracking is sent when the order is ready to ship. Check the order page if that email is missing; contact Pokémon Center support if the order’s status is unclear. See Pokémon Center support and FAQ.

Nintendo eShop digital preorder

A digital eShop preorder is separate from a physical Nintendo Store order. Nintendo says it processes payment no sooner than seven days before release, preloads the title, and lets the player start after downloading a small update at release time. Nintendo also says an eShop preorder is canceled if payment fails. These rules apply to Nintendo eShop; check another seller’s terms for its payment and cancellation policies. Status What it means
Order Processing Nintendo has placed and received the order.
Submitted The order has been approved and is being prepared for shipping.
Shipped The order has shipped.
Back-Ordered The item is unavailable and will ship when back in stock. Nintendo says most items return to processing within 3–4 days and advises allowing a week for back-ordered processing.
Canceled The customer or Nintendo canceled the order.
Partial Ship Part of the order shipped and another part has not; Nintendo says the remaining items are usually back-ordered or preordered.

Troubleshoot a missing or canceled order

  • Check the correct account or email. Search using the Nintendo Account or email address used at checkout, and look in both your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email.
  • Recheck guest lookup details. For Nintendo Store, confirm the order number, billing last name, and billing ZIP or postal code. Nintendo notes that incorrect values can trigger an incorrect-data error.
  • For a Pokémon Center cancellation, review payment details. Its FAQ says an invalid credit card at shipment can result in cancellation and that cancellation is available only before processing. Contact Pokémon Center support if the order was canceled or you need help interpreting its status.
  • Contact the seller for transaction-specific help. Do this if lookup still fails after checking details, an order appears canceled, tracking is absent despite a shipped status, or the displayed status conflicts with a charge or email. The seller that accepted the order is the one that can inspect the transaction.
