The realme P4 5G has the edge on paper for buyers prioritizing a larger 144Hz display, a much larger stated battery, faster charging and UFS 3.1 storage. The Moto G96 5G is listed as shorter, narrower and lighter, and has a higher-resolution front camera. There is no dependable single price gap to quote from the surfaced listings: their prices and stock information conflict, so compare the same storage variant and current checkout offers before choosing.

Which is better: Moto G96 5G or realme P4?
Choose the realme P4 5G for its listed screen, battery and charging specifications
Its 6.77-inch display is larger than the Moto’s listed 6.67-inch panel, and both are specified at up to 144Hz. The P4 also lists a 7000mAh typical battery and 80W charging, compared with the Moto’s 5500mAh and 33W figures in the 91mobiles comparison. Capacity and charging ratings do not predict a particular user’s battery life or charging duration; those require comparable testing.
Choose the Moto G96 5G if a smaller, lighter body or selfie resolution matters more
The 91mobiles comparison lists the Moto as 178g, 7g lighter than the P4’s approximately 185g. It is also shorter and narrower in those listed dimensions, though slightly thicker. Its 32MP front-camera resolution is higher than the P4’s 16MP. Megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better selfies, and the body figures are sourced from the secondary comparison rather than Motorola’s technical sheet.

Consider the exact memory and storage variant
The realme specification page lists three combinations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, with UFS 3.1 storage. The comparison source lists the Moto with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. Match RAM and capacity when comparing prices; a lower-priced 6GB P4 is not directly like-for-like with an 8GB Moto.
Moto G96 5G vs realme P4 5G price difference
The surfaced India listings do not support a definitive current price gap. The Motorola India listing snapshot showed ₹19,999 against an MRP of ₹22,999, while Motorola’s product page also displayed a “starts at ₹17,999” promotional line. The official realme India store showed ₹30,999 for a selected 8GB+128GB P4 5G against an MRP of ₹45,999, alongside promotional offers. A 91mobiles comparison displayed a different P4 price and marked it out of stock. These are conflicting page snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices available to every buyer.

For a useful price difference, check both listings on the same day, in India, for the same RAM and storage tier. Confirm whether the displayed price requires a bank offer, exchange, coupon or other condition, and whether the variant is in stock. Without that matched check, the gap varies by configuration and offer rather than yielding one reliable figure. Prices, discounts and availability can change.

- Display: The P4 has the larger listed panel; both have a maximum listed refresh rate of 144Hz. These figures do not establish brightness, color accuracy or how consistently a phone sustains its refresh rate.
- Performance: The phones list different chipsets, and the P4 specifies UFS 3.1 storage. Without comparable testing, these details do not prove which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming.
- Cameras: Both list a 50MP main and 8MP secondary rear camera. The Moto’s higher front-camera resolution is a specification difference, not evidence of better photos.
- Software updates: Both are reported with Android 15, with realme UI 6.0 specified for the P4. A reliable update-duration commitment is not established by these sources.
- Battery: realme specifies 7000mAh typical and 6830mAh minimum for the P4. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent endurance results.
realme India describes the P4 as “India’s Slimmest Smartphone in its Segment with a 7000mAh Battery.” That is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independently verified comparison of phones.
