The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G’s clearest advantages over the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G are 120W charging and an IP68 rating in Xiaomi’s Spain specifications. The Pro 5G specifications published for Australia list 67W charging and IP54 protection, along with a slightly larger typical-capacity battery and a flat display. Those are market-specific listings, not a guarantee that every regional version has the same specifications. A fair current price difference cannot be established from the available UK promotional listing because it pairs different storage configurations and includes discount-code language.
At a glance: what changes between the two phones?
The comparison below uses Xiaomi’s Australian specifications for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and its Spanish product page for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi says configurations and some features vary by region, so check the exact local model before buying.

| Dust and water rating | IP54 | IP68 |
| Listed memory and storage | 8GB+256GB or 12GB+512GB | Up to 12GB+512GB |
These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance, battery-life, or camera test results. The processor names alone do not show which phone is faster in everyday use. Sources: Xiaomi Australia’s Pro 5G specifications and Xiaomi Spain’s Pro+ 5G product page.
Which is better value for the price?
A like-for-like current price difference is not established here. Xiaomi’s UK series page displayed £339 for a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and £449 for a Pro+ 5G with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The page included discount-code language, and the storage tiers differ, so the £110 gap is neither a verified current price nor a clean measure of the Pro+ premium. See Xiaomi UK’s Redmi Note 13 Series page for that promotional snapshot.

For a useful comparison, check both phones from the same retailer or Xiaomi store, in the same country and on the same date, with matching RAM and storage where possible. If the local Pro+ is available only in a higher storage tier, compare the price of each actual configuration and decide whether the added storage and features justify the difference for you.
Charging and battery: the Pro+ is faster to recharge
The cited Australian Pro 5G configuration has a 5100mAh typical battery and 67W charging; Xiaomi says the adapter is sold separately in certain regions. Xiaomi Spain lists the Pro+ with a 5000mAh typical battery and 120W HyperCharge. Its claim of a full charge in 19 minutes is conditional: Xiaomi says it uses the included 120W charger, requires boosted charging to be enabled manually, and was achieved with the screen off in Xiaomi laboratory conditions; actual results may vary.
The Pro 5G has the larger stated typical capacity, but that figure does not establish longer battery life. Neither capacity nor charging wattage alone predicts how long a phone lasts in your use. Confirm what charger comes in the box for the exact regional SKU.

Durability: IP68 versus IP54
The Australian Pro 5G listing carries an IP54 rating, while Xiaomi’s Spain Pro+ page lists IP68. That makes the Pro+ the stronger choice on the cited ingress-protection specifications. These ratings describe performance under test conditions; they do not make either phone damage-proof, and they should not be read as a promise that a device will remain safe in every exposure to dust or water.

Both cited pages list a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2712 × 1220 resolution. The Australian Pro 5G specification describes a flat display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate; the Spain Pro+ page describes a curved display and 120Hz. The principal distinction here is the screen shape, which is a matter of preference rather than proof of better display quality.
Cameras: matching headline hardware does not prove matching photos
Both regional listings specify a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Xiaomi also documents a constraint on the Pro 5G’s full-resolution mode: its 200MP direct-photo mode triggers only in bright conditions when ISO is 100 or lower, and Xiaomi says the mode has poor photosensitivity in medium and low light. In Xiaomi’s Pro 5G 200MP FAQ, the company states: “In 200 million-pixel mode, the 200 million direct photo mode will be triggered only when the brightness is good (the brightness makes the camera ISO (International Organization for Standardization) less than or equal to 100).”

So, the shared 200MP label and similar listed camera arrangement do not establish equal image quality—or that one phone takes better photos. Xiaomi’s Pro camera specifications, Pro+ rear camera FAQ, and Pro+ front camera FAQ describe camera hardware, but the cited material is not a controlled side-by-side photo test.

The Australian Pro 5G page lists 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations, while Xiaomi Spain lists the Pro+ up to 12GB+512GB. Xiaomi notes that available configurations vary by region; local network support, NFC, and package contents can also differ. Xiaomi’s Pro 5G storage FAQ says the phone does not support microSD expansion, so choose enough built-in storage at purchase rather than assuming you can add a memory card later.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Pro+ 5G if 120W charging or the higher IP68 rating in the cited Spain specification matters most, and you prefer its curved screen.
- Choose the Pro 5G if you prefer a flat screen, want the higher 5100mAh typical capacity listed for the Australian version, or find its local configuration at a better price.
- Compare before choosing on speed or camera quality. These official specifications do not establish a real-world performance winner or a camera winner.
- Check the local SKU and price. Match the market, RAM, storage, retailer, and purchase date; regional specifications and offers can differ.
