On the published specifications, the realme 15 Pro 5G stands out for 80W charging, a 144Hz display and three 50MP cameras; the vivo T5 5G lists a slightly larger 7050mAh battery and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A reliable price difference is harder to state: vivo’s India store listed its 6GB+128GB T5 5G at ₹34,999 when checked in 2026, but an exact like-for-like official realme price was not established. Treat the comparison below as a specification check, not proof that one phone performs or photographs better.

A 91mobiles comparison page showed prices around ₹34,699 for the realme 15 Pro 5G and ₹34,999 for the vivo T5 5G when accessed. Those figures may refer to different sellers, configurations, offers or stock conditions, and comparison-page renderings were inconsistent. They do not establish a dependable ₹300 price gap. realme announced the 15 Pro 5G series in India on July 24, 2025, but the available evidence does not establish an exact current official-store price for the realme configuration matching vivo’s 6GB+128GB listing. See realme India’s launch announcement.

Performance: compare the chips, not an unverified winner

realme 15 Pro 5G

realme specifies the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The product specification identifies the processor, but the information available here does not establish an independent head-to-head benchmark against the vivo T5 5G.

vivo T5 5G

vivo specifies the Dimensity 7500 Turbo, built on a 4nm process. That process description alone does not determine real-world speed, sustained performance or efficiency relative to the Snapdragon. For demanding games or workloads, look for controlled tests of these exact models rather than inferring a winner from chip names.

Display and handling

realme advertises a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display. vivo specifies a 6.83-inch curved screen. These details point to different stated strengths—refresh rate for realme and a published screen size for vivo—but the cited product information does not provide all matching measurements, such as both phones’ resolution and screen size. A full display-quality verdict cannot be drawn from these specifications alone.

Both descriptions mention curved displays, which can affect edge reflections and how a phone feels in the hand. No comparative weight or dimensions are established here, so try the phones in person if grip, pocket fit or one-handed use is a deciding factor.

Cameras and video

realme’s three 50MP cameras

realme lists three 50MP cameras, including a Sony IMX896 OIS main camera, and advertises 4K 60fps recording across lenses. This is the more explicit all-50MP camera configuration on paper. Megapixel counts and supported recording modes do not establish that every lens produces equally detailed footage or that the camera is better in practice.

vivo’s main and ultrawide cameras

vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera. The ultrawide offers a separately identified camera role, while its stated resolution is lower than the main camera’s. The official vivo information cited here does not establish a comparable 4K 60fps mode.

Choose by the camera use you value: realme’s stated three 50MP rear cameras and 4K 60fps support, or vivo’s specified 8MP ultrawide and 32MP selfie camera. Neither specification sheet proves which phone takes better photos; that requires comparable sample images and testing across lighting and lenses.

Battery and charging

vivo lists a 7050mAh battery, 50mAh more than realme’s stated 7000mAh capacity. The difference is small on paper and does not establish longer runtime: screen settings, software, signal conditions and workload all affect battery life.

realme specifies 80W Ultra Charge, while vivo specifies 44W FlashCharge. Those are manufacturer-rated charging figures, not independently measured charging times. Actual results can depend on the charger, cable, temperature and usage during charging.

Durability, software and updates

Water and dust protection

vivo advertises IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, as well as military-grade durability. These are manufacturer claims; they should not be read as a guarantee against every kind of water exposure, impact or wear. The cited realme product specifications do not state an IP rating, so this comparison cannot establish an equivalent protection claim for the realme phone.

Software and update commitment

The cited product details do not establish the shipped software version or a specific update commitment for either model. Check the exact Indian retail variant’s software information and current manufacturer support policy before purchase if update duration is important.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Consider the realme 15 Pro 5G if its stated 80W charging, 144Hz display, three 50MP cameras or 4K 60fps video support across lenses best match your priorities.
  • Consider the vivo T5 5G if you prefer its stated 7050mAh battery, 6.83-inch curved display, 8MP ultrawide, 32MP front camera or advertised IP68/IP69 ratings.
  • For value, compare live like-for-like offers. Match RAM and storage, then check seller, stock and any bank or exchange conditions; the available prices do not support a stable universal gap.
  • For speed, camera quality or battery life, seek independent tests of the exact Indian models. Advertised specifications alone do not settle those outcomes.
