If the Best Buy app will not load, sign you in, or show your cart, start with your internet connection, then close and reopen the app and restart your phone. Update the app before trying more disruptive steps. If the problem affects BestBuy.com too, treat it as an account issue rather than an app-only fault.
Try these eight fixes in order

Check your internet connection
Open a browser and load a site you know works. If it fails, try another Wi-Fi network or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. A connection problem can appear to be an app loading failure; Google recommends checking connectivity and trying another connection on Android. Close and reopen the app
Dismiss Best Buy completely, wait a moment, and launch it again. On Android, Google includes force-stopping an unresponsive app in its troubleshooting steps; the exact menu and gesture depend on your phone. Google’s installed-app troubleshooting guide covers the platform steps.

Restart your phone

Update the Best Buy app
Check the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android for an available Best Buy update, then reopen the app. Best Buy recommends checking for app updates regularly or enabling automatic updates. Check for a phone system update
Install an available supported operating-system update, then try Best Buy again. Google includes Android system updates in general app troubleshooting. Settings vary by manufacturer, so use your phone maker’s instructions for finding and installing system updates. Google’s Android app guide.

Clear the app cache on Android
If the app still misbehaves, open your phone’s Settings, find Best Buy under Apps, and look for Storage or Storage & cache. Choose Clear cache. Names and paths vary by device. Prefer clearing cache over clearing storage or data: deleting data may remove saved app state and make you sign in again. Google explains that app cache and data can usually be cleared in Settings. The cited guidance does not establish an equivalent Best Buy-specific iPhone cache-clearing procedure; do not assume Android steps apply to iPhone.

Reinstall the app only if simpler steps fail
Before removing Best Buy, make sure you can access your account and sign in again. Uninstall the app, reinstall it from the official App Store or Google Play, and then sign in. Google cautions that uninstalling can erase data saved in an app, so do not count on local app state being preserved. Best Buy provides its official app page; Google also documents reinstalling Android apps.

Check whether the issue is app-only, account-wide, or cart-related
Open BestBuy.com in a browser. If the site works but the app does not, continue with app troubleshooting. If you cannot sign in on either, use Best Buy’s password assistance page. If the website and app both work but a cart item is missing, sign in to the account you used when adding it. Best Buy says a logged-in account can save cart items between shopping sessions, but that does not guarantee every cart problem is caused by the app or that reinstalling will restore local cart state. If the issue persists, Best Buy’s app page directs users to its mobile FAQ or to 1-888-237-8289. Its contact page also provides account and order help. The app page’s FAQ link is identified by Best Buy as www.bestbuy.com/mobileFAQs; its availability may vary.
If you cannot sign in, reset your password carefully
Start at Best Buy’s sign-in page and select the password-help option. The reset uses a verification code. Best Buy says creating a new password removes billing information from the account, so review your payment details before your next checkout. Best Buy Account Password Assistance.
