On October 26, 2006, eASIC announced agreements with five companies to represent it across Asia-Pacific: Advinno Technologies in Singapore, Asiacom Technology in China, EE Solutions in Taiwan, Innoasic in South Korea and Reptechnic in Australia. The partners were assigned local sales and technical design-support roles for eASIC’s Nextreme 90nm programmable ASIC family. The announcement records their appointments at that time; it does not establish whether the relationships or product line remain active today.

Who were eASIC’s five new channel partners?

eASIC’s October 26, 2006 announcement named these companies and markets:

Company Market named in the announcement
Advinno Technologies Singapore
Asiacom Technology China
EE Solutions Taiwan
Innoasic South Korea
Reptechnic Australia

The announcement described all five as channel partners for eASIC’s Nextreme 90nm programmable ASIC family. Their stated remit combined local sales with technical design support; it was not limited to product distribution. Read the October 26, 2006 announcement on SemiIPHub.

Why did eASIC appoint regional partners?

eASIC said the appointments would help extend sales and support to customers in local markets as part of its global-presence strategy. The company said it selected the partners for technical expertise, customer service and a record of successful ASIC and FPGA designs. These are the company’s stated rationale, not independently verified evaluations of the partners.

What did “Nextreme 90nm programmable ASIC” mean?

The announcement described eASIC as a fabless programmable-ASIC supplier offering structured ASIC devices and configurable logic IP. It characterized its technology as combining FPGA-like programmable logic with ASIC-like routing customized through a via layer, using mask-less customization with direct-write e-beam. These are descriptions from eASIC’s announcement, not independent measurements or proof of performance advantages.

The release also promoted customer cost and time-to-market benefits, but did not provide independently attributable figures establishing those outcomes. Its concrete channel announcement was that the five partners would provide regional sales and technical design support for the Nextreme family.

Was this part of a wider expansion?

A separate Design & Reuse republication reported that eASIC had announced European channel additions, Cryptex and ORSoC, earlier in October 2006. That contemporaneous report places the five Asia-Pacific appointments within a broader expansion of eASIC’s channel network during that month; it does not indicate whether any partner remained authorized afterward. Does the announcement confirm current partner or product status?

No. The evidence is a republication of a 2006 press release, not a current partner directory. It supports the historical statement that eASIC announced these five appointments and described their intended roles. It does not establish whether those firms still represent eASIC, whether their territories changed, or whether the Nextreme family is available today.
