The realme C85 5G and realme 16x 5G share the same listed Dimensity 6300 chipset and 6.8-inch HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The clearest spec difference in the official market pages reviewed is battery capacity: 7,000mAh typical for the C85 on realme Singapore’s page versus 6,600mAh typical for the 16x on realme Brazil’s page. An India comparison listing showed the 16x ₹1,600 higher, but that third-party price snapshot can change and should not be treated as a current quote.
Specs at a glance
| Specification | realme C85 5G | realme 16x 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 6300, listed by realme Singapore (specifications) | MediaTek Dimensity 6300, listed by realme Brazil (specifications) |
| Display | 6.8-inch LCD, 1570 × 720 HD+, up to 144Hz | 6.8-inch LCD, 1570 × 720 HD+, up to 144Hz |
| Typical battery capacity | 7,000mAh, realme Singapore specification | 6,600mAh, realme Brazil specification |
| Rated charging | Up to 45W | Up to 45W |
| Rear camera | 50MP Sony IMX852, f/1.8, on the Singapore page | 50MP, f/1.8, on the Brazil page |
| Front camera | 8MP on the official pages reviewed | 5MP on the official Brazil page |
| Memory and storage | Configurations vary by country; up to 256GB storage is listed on the Singapore page | Brazil page lists 4GB+128GB and multiple 256GB configurations |
These are specifications from different regional pages, not a guarantee that every country sells the same configuration. Both screens are HD+ rather than Full HD+, despite sharing the same size and maximum refresh rate. Battery capacity is not a battery-life result, and camera resolution and aperture alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.
How the two phones differ in practical terms
Battery capacity
The C85 has the larger published typical capacity in the official pages compared here: 7,000mAh versus 6,600mAh for the Brazil-market 16x. That makes the C85 the stronger on-paper choice if capacity is your priority, but it does not prove longer runtime. Screen brightness, network use, software, workload and other factors affect endurance.
Front-camera specifications
Realme’s Singapore and Philippines C85 pages list an 8MP front camera, while the official Brazil 16x page lists 5MP. The India comparison page lists 8MP for the 16x, so there is a conflict between that third-party entry and the official Brazil specification. Verify the exact local model’s official specifications rather than assuming the Brazil figure or the comparison-site figure applies to every market.

Shared display and chipset
The official pages reviewed give both phones the same named chipset and headline display specifications. That does not establish identical real-world speed, display quality or software experience; the listed figures simply do not show a clear distinction on those points.
Price difference: what the India listing showed
The 91mobiles India comparison page showed ₹20,999 for the C85 and ₹22,599 for the 16x, a displayed difference of ₹1,600 in favor of the C85. These were Amazon-linked third-party prices captured for the comparison, not official launch prices or guaranteed live offers. Realme India’s store listing confirmed the model names in its navigation but did not expose a verifiable live price in the page text reviewed. Check the comparison listing and realme India Store for current availability; confirm the seller and exact RAM/storage variant before comparing prices.

Regional details to check before buying
- Configuration: Match RAM and storage, not just the phone name. The Brazil 16x page lists a 4GB+128GB option and several 256GB variants; the C85’s maximum memory and storage configurations vary by country or region.
- Network compatibility: The Brazil page’s supported bands apply to that market’s 16x listing. Check the bands for the actual local SKU against your carrier rather than transferring Brazil specifications to another country.
- Warranty and seller: Check local warranty coverage and the seller on the listing you plan to buy. The India prices above are third-party snapshots, not a promise of stock or warranty terms.
- Box contents: Realme Philippines lists an 8GB+256GB C85 and says a 45W SUPERVOOC adapter is included in that market. The Brazil 16x page lists a charger and protective case, while noting contents can vary by market. Do not assume the same accessories ship with every regional version.
For extra physical context, realme Brazil lists the 16x at approximately 166.47 × 78.23 × 8.88mm and about 224g. Those are Brazil-page specifications, so check the local model details if dimensions or weight matter to your purchase.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the C85 if its local price and configuration suit you and the larger published battery capacity is your priority. This is a capacity-based comparison, not a claim that it will last a specific number of hours longer.
- Consider the 16x if its local price, available memory configuration, software support or other locally verified features better fit your needs. The pages reviewed do not establish a universal winner.
- Before checkout, compare the same RAM/storage configuration in the same country, then verify current price, network bands, warranty and included accessories for that listing.
