The Keychron BM27 is a wireless vertical mouse with useful connection options and quiet-click variants, but its comfort depends on whether its angle and shape suit your hand. Keychron lists a 55-degree design and a 99 g weight; owner feedback is mixed on cursor direction, glide, and fit. Consider it if you want to try a vertical grip for everyday work, not as a proven remedy for wrist pain.
What the Keychron BM27 is—and what it promises
The BM27 is Keychron’s vertical ergonomic wireless mouse, listed on the company’s US site as SKU BM27-A61. Its upright shape is intended to reduce forearm pronation compared with a conventional flat mouse. That describes the design goal, not a guaranteed comfort or medical outcome.
Keychron specifies a 55-degree vertical angle and a 99 g body. It lists a PAW3212 sensor with up to 2,400 DPI and a maximum 30 IPS, plus a 500 mAh battery. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Keychron BM27 product page

Will the BM27 feel comfortable?
There is no single answer: the shape may suit someone who prefers a more upright grip, but the mouse’s angle and size have to work for that person’s hand and movement. Keychron’s product language promotes wrist comfort and pain-free work; neither that marketing nor the available independent-review excerpt establishes that the BM27 prevents or treats pain.
Keychron’s page displays four owner reviews with contrasting experiences. One owner praises comfort, quiet clicks, connection, and battery life lasting through two work weeks. Other reviewers describe needing to hold the mouse at an uncomfortable angle to move the cursor naturally, poor glide on their surface, or a fit they disliked with larger hands. A reviewer who describes having smaller hands suggests it may suit smaller hands better. These individual reports can flag questions to consider, but they are not a representative comfort test or evidence of how common any issue is. Keychron BM27 product page

In practical terms, pay attention to whether you can move the cursor naturally while holding the mouse in a relaxed position, whether its size fits your hand, and whether it glides well on your own surface. The owner reports do not establish that a particular pad or adjustment fixes glide or cursor-angle complaints.
How it performs as a work mouse
RTINGS published its BM27 review on September 25, 2026, using Methodology v1.5.2. Its verdict is that “The Keychron BM27 is a satisfactory work mouse.” The review excerpt says the vertical shape may be more comfortable for some users because it reduces forearm pronation and may help limit strain. The qualification matters: the excerpt does not establish a universal comfort benefit, a medical effect, or a battery, sensor, or latency measurement. RTINGS Keychron BM27 review

The evidence supports treating the BM27 as a productivity-oriented mouse with a distinctive grip, rather than assuming it will suit every desk setup or hand. There is not enough evidence here to score it against the Anker Wireless Vertical Mouse or name a winner; a meaningful comparison would require comparable information about fit, cursor movement, glide, connectivity, configuration, weight, and local price.
Connections and configuration
The BM27 supports 2.4 GHz wireless through its included Type-A receiver, Bluetooth, and wired use over its Type-C cable. That gives it options for a desktop, laptop, or setup where wireless use is inconvenient, though the available evidence does not establish performance differences between modes.
