In Hostinger AI Builder’s manual-mode editor, open Add elements, drag Social icons onto the page, then select it and choose Edit social icons to add and configure profile links.

Add social icons to a page

  1. In the manual-mode editor, expand Add elements in the left panel.
  2. Drag Social icons to the location where you want the icons to appear.
  3. Select the element and choose Edit social icons.
  4. Add the social profile links you want visitors to use. Remove any links you do not need, and use the available style and layout controls to adjust the element.
  5. Check each destination to make sure it leads to the intended profile.

Hostinger says it automatically generates an icon when it recognizes a social profile link, such as a LinkedIn profile. To edit a link, use the settings wheel beside the suggested icon to enter its URL. Choose Add new link to add another destination. Click outside the settings box to save changes automatically. Hostinger’s social icons guide and its guide to adding elements describe the element and its controls; the link instructions explain how to edit destinations.

What to do if the icon is not what you expect

  • A platform icon does not appear: Hostinger says an unrecognized URL may display a standard link symbol instead. Check the URL format; if it still is not recognized, Hostinger advises contacting support with the link format.
  • You are adding an email or phone destination: For an email icon, enter an email address. For a phone icon, enter the phone number without symbols, as Hostinger’s instructions specify.
  • You want a social feed: The Social icons element adds links to profiles; it is not an Instagram feed or Pinterest board embed.

Page icons and header icons use different controls

The steps above apply to a social-icons element placed in the page content. To add icons to the header, open the header editor and use its Elements controls. Header icons have a separate show-icons setting, with documented controls for profile links, icon size, regular color, and hover color. Do not assume those header-specific options are available for a page-level element. See Hostinger’s header editing guide for the header workflow and controls.
