Use a training dummy in a town or Legion base to rehearse one short skill sequence at a time. A dummy is useful for checking your inputs and, if you use a macro, whether the skills fire in the intended order; the available sources do not establish a dedicated combo-training mode, a universal rotation, or dummy reset controls.
Where to practice
Look for a training dummy in a town or at a Legion base. Update notes dated July 22, 2026, reproduced by the unofficial fan project Legendary Patch Notes, say that some dummies in each town and Legion base were replaced with versions that use attack skills. Those dummies use skills only when a player is nearby; the notes do not identify every location with the behavior or give a route to one. Read the July 22 update notes.
Start with a short sequence you want to learn, such as an opener, a resource-building skill, and a finisher. Keep the goal narrow: rehearse the order and timing of those inputs before adding more skills.
Practice a sequence manually or with a macro

- Choose one short sequence and write down the order you intend to use.
- If you are using a macro, put those skills in that priority order, then hold the macro key to let it cycle. Otherwise, enter the same sequence manually.
- Watch for missed activations, skills skipped because they are on cooldown, or an order that feels wrong.
- If the macro drops skills, increase its delay and repeat the same sequence. The guide describes differing delay approaches, so it does not establish one setting as best for every player or skill chain.
- Change one thing at a time and repeat the sequence so you can tell what changed.
Keep decision-sensitive skills manual
The macro guide recommends leaving long-cooldown burst skills, charged or reactive skills, toggles, and other actions that depend on a player decision out of an automatic loop. A dummy drill can help you check a repeatable chain, but it cannot decide when a live situation calls for one of those actions.
What a training dummy can tell you
A dummy can help you repeat inputs and check the basic flow of a sequence or macro. The July 22, 2026 update notes establish that some dummies can use attack skills when a player is nearby, but they do not show that every dummy attacks or that the behavior simulates another player.

The cited sources do not establish dummy reset controls, combo scoring, a dedicated practice arena, or whether dummies reproduce movement, defense, crowd-control resistance, or live PvP conditions. They also do not explain whether cooldowns reset when you leave a dummy. Treat the exercise as input rehearsal and basic sequence checking, then judge how well the sequence works in actual encounters.

NCSoft’s July 6, 2026 announcement describes Brawler as using Gauntlets for front-line attacks and combo-based charges. It says basic attacks and active skills generate Rage, and reaching a certain Rage gauge triggers Rampage. NCSoft’s announcement offers that class context but does not prescribe an optimal training sequence.

When practicing Brawler, watch the Rage gauge while repeating a short chain and notice how its charges relate to Rampage. The announcement does not give exact thresholds, a preferred skill order, or a measured damage comparison. Skill names and availability should be checked against your current regional game version; an independent AION2 Codex class archive describes its class guides as documenting the Korean version.
