These are manufacturer-listed specifications for the India-market models. They describe hardware, not independent camera, battery-life, charging-time or performance test results.
Which phone has the better display?
The vivo T5 5G has the larger and higher-resolution panel: 6.83 inches at 2800 × 1260, compared with the realme 16 5G’s 6.57-inch 2372 × 1080 AMOLED display. realme specifies a refresh rate of up to 120Hz; the cited vivo listing does not state a refresh-rate figure, so that specification cannot be compared from these figures alone.
Choose the vivo if screen size and pixel resolution are your priorities. The realme’s smaller listed screen and lighter body may suit someone who prefers a more compact phone, though screen size alone does not establish overall comfort.

How do the processors compare?
The vivo lists a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, while the realme lists a Dimensity 6400 Turbo with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. On listed chipset tier, the vivo is the stronger specification choice. No comparable benchmark or gaming test is available here, so this is not a quantified claim about real-world speed, sustained performance or game frame rates.
What is different about the cameras?
The realme lists 50MP cameras on both the front and rear wide position, plus a 2MP monochrome rear camera. The vivo pairs a 50MP Sony IMX882 main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera; its front camera is 32MP.

For selfies, the realme has the higher listed megapixel count. For rear-camera flexibility, the vivo adds an ultra-wide lens and identifies OIS on its main camera. These specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos: megapixel counts and feature lists are not substitutes for comparable image samples or testing.
Which has the bigger battery, and which charges faster?
The vivo’s listed 7050mAh capacity is slightly larger than the realme’s 7000mAh typical capacity (6830mAh rated). realme lists faster wired charging at 60W, compared with vivo’s 44W FlashCharge. Capacity and charging wattage do not, by themselves, predict battery life or the time needed for a full charge; those depend on usage and charging conditions.

Which phone is smaller and lighter?
The realme is listed at 183g and about 158.3 × 75.1 × 8.1mm. The vivo is listed at 199g and 164.42 × 75.25 × 7.99mm. That makes the realme 16g lighter and shorter, while the vivo is fractionally thinner on the listed measurements. The vivo’s larger screen comes with a larger, heavier body.
What storage, software and durability details matter?
Both phones are listed with 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB options, making those the clearest configurations for a direct comparison. The vivo also has a 6GB+128GB option; the realme listing does not show an equivalent 6GB configuration.

The vivo India Store displayed ₹34,999 for the selected T5 5G 6GB+128GB configuration, with ₹49,999 shown as MRP. A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹36,490 at Amazon for the realme 16, but that is a dynamic third-party marketplace-linked price, not an official realme price; the memory configuration and live offer should be checked before comparing.
