The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is the more camera-flexible option on paper, with a dedicated 3x periscope camera and an ultra-wide lens. The vivo T5x 5G has the larger stated battery: 7,200 mAh versus 5,000 mAh. Both list displays around 6.8 inches and refresh rates up to 120 Hz, but Nothing uses AMOLED while vivo uses LCD. There is no reliable, like-for-like price difference in the available listings, so compare the same RAM and storage tier at checkout.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent measurements. They indicate what hardware and features are offered, but do not establish comparative photo quality, battery life, display performance, or sustained speed. Which phone has the better camera setup?

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro: more dedicated focal lengths

Nothing lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50 MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. That gives it dedicated hardware for a zoomed-in view and a wider scene, alongside its main camera. The specifications do not show how well those cameras perform in real photographs.

vivo T5x 5G: main camera and bokeh sensor

vivo lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera. The specification does not list a dedicated telephoto or ultra-wide rear camera. On paper, the T5x therefore offers fewer distinct rear-camera options than the Nothing model.

Choose by camera use: the Nothing is the more versatile specification-sheet choice if optical zoom and ultra-wide framing matter to you. Do not treat megapixel counts or lens availability as proof of better image quality; no matched photo test is established here.

How do their displays differ?

The screens are nearly the same stated size: 6.77 inches on the Nothing and 6.76 inches on the vivo. Both list refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The key difference is panel type: Nothing specifies a flexible AMOLED panel, while vivo specifies an LCD at 2344 × 1080 resolution. Nothing describes its refresh rate as adaptive.

Those specifications identify the technologies and listed refresh rates; they do not establish which screen is brighter, more color-accurate, or easier to read outdoors. Those qualities require comparable measurements or hands-on evaluation.

Does the vivo T5x battery last longer?

vivo lists a 7,200 mAh battery for the T5x, compared with 5,000 mAh for the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. The vivo therefore has the greater stated capacity. Capacity alone cannot determine how many hours either phone lasts: screen settings, network conditions, workload, software, and other factors affect endurance, and no matched battery-life test is available here.

For charging, Nothing lists 50 W fast charging and vivo lists 44 W. Wattage by itself does not establish charging time; the two figures should not be used to infer which phone reaches a given battery percentage faster.

What is the price difference in India?

A dependable current price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures because they do not establish matching configurations and final checkout prices. Nothing’s current official India price was not established in the returned listing results. A vivo official store result showed ₹27,999 for the 6 GB/128 GB T5x and ₹34,999 for its 8 GB/256 GB variant; the base listing also displayed an MRP of ₹28,999. These are observed storefront figures, not guaranteed live prices. Check vivo’s official T5x store listing for current availability and price.

A 91mobiles comparison result displayed ₹27,999 for the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and ₹27,099 for the vivo T5x at Amazon, but did not establish whether the configurations matched or what the final checkout prices would be. Treat those as a marketplace snapshot, not a definitive ₹900 difference. See the comparison listing.

Compare the same storage tier before deciding

  1. Identify the RAM and storage configuration you want for each phone; the vivo figures above span 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB.
  2. Check the current seller price for that configuration on the official store or retailer listing, and confirm the exact model and availability.
  3. Compare the checkout totals, including any offer or bank discount you can actually use. Do not assume a displayed MRP or marketplace result is the amount you will pay.

Which should you choose?

Choose Nothing Phone (3a) Pro if camera flexibility matters most

  • You want a dedicated 3x optical zoom camera and an ultra-wide rear camera in addition to the main camera.
  • You prefer the listed AMOLED display over an LCD panel.

Choose vivo T5x 5G if stated battery capacity is the priority

  • You value its larger 7,200 mAh stated battery capacity.
  • You are comfortable with the listed 50 MP main and 2 MP bokeh rear-camera setup rather than dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide hardware.

The processor names alone do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use or under sustained load. That comparison would require reliable testing under matched conditions. Make the final choice based on the features you will use and the current price of the exact configuration you plan to buy.
