vivo V70 vs POCO X8 Pro: which specs differ?
The table compares the India V70 specifications with POCO’s official X8 Pro specifications. POCO memory options shown on its regional page may not all be sold in India. Manufacturer brightness and performance figures are claims measured or specified under different conditions, not direct comparative tests.

What the camera specifications mean
The V70 is the only one of these two with a listed rear telephoto camera, alongside its main and ultrawide cameras. The X8 Pro lists a main and ultrawide rear camera. That is a difference in camera hardware, not proof that one phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and the available specifications are not a controlled camera comparison.

For selfies, vivo lists a 50MP autofocus front camera and describes it as a ZEISS group selfie camera; POCO lists a 20MP front camera. Resolution and autofocus details do not, by themselves, establish which produces better results.
Performance, screen and battery: what can be compared
Processor
The V70 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the X8 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500-Ultra. The listed clock speeds—up to 2.8GHz for the V70 in 91mobiles’ comparison and up to 3.4GHz for POCO per Xiaomi—are not a reliable standalone ranking of speed. No independent, like-for-like benchmark results are established here.

Display
Both screens are listed at 6.59 inches, with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Their resolutions are close: 2750×1260 for vivo and 2756×1268 for POCO. The brightness figures should not be treated as a head-to-head result: vivo calls its 5000-nit figure a local peak, while Xiaomi specifies 3500 nits on 25% of the POCO screen.
Battery and charging
Both phones list 6500mAh batteries. The stated charging rates are 90W for vivo and 100W for POCO, but those figures alone do not establish charge time or endurance. Xiaomi says availability of the 100W adapter in the box depends on the local seller; actual charging results can also depend on conditions. The POCO page lists wired reverse charging up to 27W.

How much do the vivo V70 and POCO X8 Pro cost in India?
There are two different kinds of price evidence, so they should not be subtracted to claim a definitive current price gap.
- vivo V70 launch prices: vivo India’s February 19, 2026 release announced ₹45,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹49,999 for 12GB+256GB. Retail availability was scheduled to begin February 26, 2026. These are historical launch prices, not a guarantee of today’s selling price.
- Later Amazon offer snapshot: 91mobiles displayed ₹59,999 for the V70 and ₹42,990 for the POCO X8 Pro. The listing does not establish that these were the same storage tier or that either price remains live.
Because the Amazon snapshot lacks confirmed matching configurations and a guaranteed live status, it does not support a reliable like-for-like price difference. Check both phones on the same day, from the same seller where possible, and compare the same RAM and storage tier. Water resistance and software support
The V70 is rated IP68/IP69 by vivo; the X8 Pro is rated IP68 by POCO. These ratings describe protection under defined test conditions, not permission for routine immersion or a guarantee that liquid damage will be covered. vivo’s specification page describes IP68 laboratory submersion up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes, while its launch release describes up to 120 minutes. Those vivo pages give different duration claims, so neither should be generalized beyond its stated context. vivo also warns that protection can diminish with daily use and advises against immersing the phone during normal use.
Xiaomi says the X8 Pro’s IP68 testing used still fresh water up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes under specific laboratory conditions, and cautions that this does not reflect normal consumer use. Its warning states: “Water resistance features apply only under the specific laboratory conditions tested and do not reflect normal consumer use.”

For the POCO, 91mobiles lists four years of OS updates and six years of security updates, but that period is not confirmed here by an official POCO source. Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo V70 if the dedicated rear telephoto camera, 50MP autofocus front camera, or the officially stated update commitment is central to your choice.
- Consider the POCO X8 Pro if its Dimensity 8500-Ultra platform, 100W charging specification, or listed 1.5K display better fits your priorities.
- Compare the checkout prices before deciding if value is the deciding factor. The available price figures mix launch pricing with a later offer snapshot and do not establish a current, same-variant gap.
These are specification-based distinctions, not independent findings about camera output, real-world performance, battery life, or charging time.
