There is no clear value winner at every price. On published specifications, the OnePlus 13 offers more display resolution, a larger base memory-and-storage configuration, and greater stated battery capacity. The Galaxy S26 FE’s strongest counterweight is Samsung’s reported promise of seven generations of Android upgrades and seven years of security updates. Compare the phones at current prices in the same market and at equivalent storage before deciding.
Compare local prices and storage first
The available prices are launch or recommended figures from different markets, not like-for-like checkout prices. TechRadar reported these Galaxy S26 FE prices in 2026: $699 / £699 / AU$1,149 for 128GB and $799 / £799 / AU$1,299 for 256GB. OnePlus India’s official specification page lists the OnePlus 13 at ₹69,999 for 12GB/256GB, ₹76,999 for 16GB/512GB, and ₹89,999 for 24GB/1TB.
Those figures use different currencies, markets, and configurations; they do not establish which phone costs less where you live. Check current local stock, promotions, trade-in offers, and the storage tier at checkout. Compare equivalent storage where possible, and account for the OnePlus 13’s cited base configuration of 256GB against the FE’s 128GB base configuration in the launch markets TechRadar listed.

The brightness figures are not a controlled, directly comparable measurement. Similarly, these hardware listings show differences on paper; they do not establish a real-world speed or image-quality advantage by themselves.

What those differences mean in daily use
Display and performance
The OnePlus 13 has the larger, higher-resolution panel and a listed refresh range that can start at 1Hz and rise to 120Hz. That is the stronger published display specification for buyers who prioritize screen size and resolution. The FE’s panel is smaller and FHD+, while its listed refresh rates are 60Hz and 120Hz.
The OnePlus 13 also starts with more RAM and storage in the cited configurations. TechRadar’s FE review says the Exynos 2500 performed well in graphics tests, but its reviewer noted that 8GB of RAM can constrain multitasking or intensive apps. This is not a controlled performance comparison with the OnePlus 13, so it cannot support a quantified claim about how much faster one phone is.

Battery and charging
OnePlus lists a 6,000mAh battery for the OnePlus 13, compared with TechRadar’s 4,900mAh figure for the FE. The FE supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging; TechRadar’s reviewer recorded 58 minutes for a full charge in their 45W test. That is an observed result under the reviewer’s test conditions, not a guarantee for every charger or usage pattern.
Battery capacity alone does not determine how long a phone lasts. 91mobiles lists test results of 11 hours 24 minutes for the OnePlus 13 and 10 hours 16 minutes for the FE, but the method behind those figures is not established in the available comparison. Treat them as third-party reported results, not as a verified, controlled head-to-head test. TechRadar’s reviewer said the FE lasted well in their own usage.

Cameras
The listed camera hardware favors the OnePlus 13 in resolution, especially for its ultra-wide and periscope telephoto cameras. That does not prove better photos: sensor specifications and megapixel counts do not capture processing, consistency, or performance across lighting conditions. TechRadar’s FE review describes its results as mixed, praising the main and selfie cameras while criticizing the ultra-wide and telephoto performance. A direct image comparison between these two phones is not established here.
Which phone is better value for you?
Choose the OnePlus 13 if
- You want the higher-resolution, larger display shown in the published specifications.
- You value a larger base RAM-and-storage configuration or a higher stated battery capacity.
- You prefer the higher-resolution camera hardware listed by 91mobiles, while recognizing that this alone does not establish photo quality.
- You can buy the model and configuration intended for your market. If considering an import, confirm network compatibility and local support first.
Choose the Galaxy S26 FE if
- You place a high value on Samsung’s software experience and the support commitment TechRadar reports for the FE.
- Its current local price, discount, or trade-in offer makes it materially cheaper than a comparable OnePlus 13 configuration.
- You prefer its size or camera results based on your own priorities; the available findings do not establish a universal camera winner.
Bottom line: decide at the price you can actually pay
The OnePlus 13 makes the stronger hardware-value case on the published specifications, while the Galaxy S26 FE has the clearer longevity argument in the sources available. Neither fact makes one phone the universal bargain: regional configurations and current prices matter, and the available evidence does not include a controlled performance, battery, or camera comparison of both phones. Check same-market checkout prices and choose according to the features and support you will use.
