Can you salvage weapons in Minecraft Dungeons II?
Whether weapons can be salvaged is not established in the official sources available. They do not document a salvage command, what it might return, or whether salvaging affects enchantments. In particular, there is no confirmed basis for saying that salvaging returns currency, resources, or enchantments.
Can you respec or refund weapon enchantments?
The sequel does offer more choice over enchantments: you collect Enchant Books, add them to a personal library, and use the Enchantsmith to apply an enchantment to a gear slot. Enchantments can also be upgraded and leveled over time. However, official descriptions do not say whether an applied enchantment can be removed, refunded, or reassigned while keeping the item.
The game also expands combat slots from six to twelve, divides armor among helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots, and adds talismans with passive bonuses. What can you change with the Blacksmith?
Xbox Wire’s Gamescom preview describes two Blacksmith services for owned equipment. Neither is documented as a way to salvage an item or refund an applied enchantment.

What to do with a weapon you want to keep
- For power: ask the Blacksmith to upgrade the owned equipment to the highest power level currently available, as described in the Gamescom preview.
- For its in-built buff: use the Blacksmith’s documented reroll option if you want to replace that buff.
- For enchantments: use the Enchantsmith to apply or upgrade enchantments from your library. Do not treat this as confirmation that an existing enchantment can be removed or refunded.
- Before discarding an item: check the current in-game options or official guidance. The available official descriptions do not confirm what salvage would do, if the option exists.

Minecraft announced that Minecraft Dungeons II launched on September 29, 2026. The announcement lists Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2; the official FAQ also lists Windows.
