To finish The Complete Set in CONTROL Resonant, contain four runaway SINKKI D50 speakers and one subwoofer, place the speakers on four different Auction House surfaces, then switch them off before making a final choice about the subwoofer. The subwoofer is in an SR Clearance storage room near Executive Research in the Oldest House; Frederick Langston gives you the keycard.
Start The Complete Set and collect the four speakers
You can start this side story from clues in Central, the Downtown Auction House, or the Museum of Curiosities. The Auction House is the hub for the ritual, so read the SINKKI D50 Speaker Set setup note there; it describes the surfaces needed later. The speakers can be collected in any order. Where to find each speaker
- Central construction site: Find the roaming speaker at the construction site in Central.
- Downtown Auction House: Search the Auction House for the speaker moving through the building.
- Central Atlantis coffee shop: Look for the roaming speaker inside the Atlantis coffee shop.
- West Incursion Zone Museum of Curiosities: Clear the three Hiss nodes blocking the entrance. Read the nearby note if you need the clue, then press the red button beside the display to release the speaker.
How to contain a roaming speaker
Each altered speaker pulses and moves. Follow it without standing directly on top of it; when it pauses, close in and use the containment interaction. Trying to contain it while it is moving can make the approach harder. The museum speaker is released by the display button before you follow and contain it. Find and contain the subwoofer
- Talk to Frederick Langston at the Field Office in Central. Ask him about the confiscated subwoofer to receive the SR keycard.
- Return to the Oldest House. Take the elevator route down toward Executive Research and find the storage-room door marked SR Clearance.
- Use the SR keycard and interact with the subwoofer. This triggers a Hiss encounter.
- Defeat the Hiss, then pursue the subwoofer. Like the speakers, it moves; wait for a pause and use the containment interaction.

Assign the objects to the Auction House surfaces
Bring the complete set to the Downtown Auction House. First put the set on the leather couch beside the civilian. Then carry one speaker to each of the four required surface categories and put the subwoofer in water. The speakers are interchangeable: use one on each category rather than searching for a particular speaker identity.

Complete the shutdown sequence
- After placing the objects, interact with the civilian at the console to start the ritual.
- When the four speakers begin blaring, move around the room and switch each one off during its safe pause.
- Keep the subwoofer on. Once all four speakers are off, return to the subwoofer for the final interaction.
A suggested route reported by the walkthroughs is glass table, blue tarp, wooden bench, then stone stage. If the timer expires, the speakers switch back on and you must repeat the shutdown route. All Things How and KeenGamer both describe the shutdown phase.
Choose what happens to the civilian
After switching off all four speakers, interact with the subwoofer. The two options produce different outcomes for the civilian, but the walkthroughs report the same reward either way:

If the final subwoofer prompt does not appear
All Things How reports a bug in which the final interaction prompt may fail to appear. Its suggested workarounds are reloading an autosave, fast-traveling away and returning, or restarting; these are reported attempts, not guaranteed fixes. The guide said no official fix was available when it was written. Check Remedy support for current official help before treating the issue as unresolved. Remedy’s official Steam news confirms that CONTROL Resonant launched on September 24, 2026; it does not document this quest.
