Which phone is better, the realme 16x 5G or the vivo Y31T 5G? The available specifications point to a faster-refreshing screen and slightly higher rated charging power for the realme, while vivo lists a larger battery and confirms its specifications on its India product page. But the realme figures come from a comparison site, and current prices are not a like-for-like comparison. Check the exact variant and seller before deciding on value.
realme 16x 5G vs vivo Y31T 5G: specifications
The table separates vivo’s manufacturer-listed specifications from figures reported for the realme by 91mobiles. realme details should be treated as secondary-source claims because an official realme specification page was not available among the sources for this comparison.

Which phone has the better display?
On the figures reported, the realme 16x 5G reaches up to 144Hz, compared with the vivo Y31T 5G’s manufacturer-listed maximum of 120Hz. A higher refresh-rate ceiling can allow supported content to update more frequently, but these figures alone do not establish a noticeable difference in everyday use.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 6.78 inches
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 16, Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm), Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm)
- Rear: 200 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), 1/1.56", 0.5µm, dual-pixel PDAF, OIS, 8 MP, 112˚, (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, Front: 50 MP, f/2.4, 23mm (wide), 1/2.88", 0.61µm
Both screens are listed as LCD and have HD-class resolutions. vivo specifies 1608 × 720; 91mobiles reports 720 × 1570 for the realme. Resolution and refresh rate do not establish which screen looks better: brightness, tuning, content, and hands-on viewing also matter, and no comparative display test is available here.
Battery capacity and charging
vivo lists a 7200mAh typical battery and 44W charging for the Y31T 5G. 91mobiles reports a 7000mAh battery and 45W SuperVOOC for the realme 16x 5G. These are rated capacities and advertised charging figures, not a matched battery-runtime or charging-speed test; they cannot establish which phone lasts longer or reaches a full charge sooner.

vivo notes that actual charging power adjusts dynamically according to power supply, external conditions, and usage. No equivalent official realme source was available to verify its reported charging specification.
Performance, cameras, memory and software
Processors and performance
The reported chipsets are MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for the realme and Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 for the vivo. Chip names alone do not show which phone is faster for gaming, multitasking, or everyday apps. No cited benchmark or matched workload test establishes a performance winner.
Rank #3

- 512GB Storage, 16GB RAM
- Android 16, Qualcomm SM8850-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm), Octa-core (2x4.6 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L + 6x3.62 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix M)

- 161.8 x 76.9 x 8.2 mm (6.37 x 3.03 x 0.32 in)
Cameras
91mobiles reports a 50MP primary rear camera on the realme. vivo lists a 50MP main camera plus a 2MP bokeh camera on the Y31T 5G. Both are listed with 8MP front cameras. Megapixel counts and camera presence do not establish image quality, and no matched camera test is available.
Memory and storage
vivo lists the Y31T 5G in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB configurations, with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Its product page says expandable ROM is not available. The realme configuration evidence is less consistent: one comparison entry lists 4GB/128GB, while other pages conflict on variants. Confirm the exact realme configuration on the seller’s listing before ordering.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme 16x 5G if the reported 144Hz display and 45W charging are priorities, but verify those specifications and the exact variant with the seller or an official realme source before buying.
- Consider the vivo Y31T 5G if you prefer specifications confirmed on vivo’s India product page, a listed 7200mAh typical battery, IP68/IP69 ratings, or a clearly listed 6GB/128GB store configuration.
- Wait to compare prices if value is the deciding factor. The available figures do not provide a current, same-variant price comparison.
For vivo, the listed box contents include a charger, USB cable, case, and applied protective film. Check the product package and regional listing for the unit you buy.
