If you want to see your character’s body and feet while exploring Fallout 4 in first person, Full Body First Person – F4SE is a mod built for that purpose. It adapts the game’s animations to show an animated body during first-person play. The mod page lists support for Fallout 4 OG, NG, and AE, but notes clipping and other issues; check its current requirements and compatibility before installing.
What Full Body First Person changes
Fallout 4’s first-person view typically leaves players without a visible full body. Full Body First Person – F4SE makes the character’s body, legs, and feet visible and animated in that view, adapting the game’s vanilla animations rather than presenting a static model.

#1 Best Overall
- Freedom and Liberty Do whatever you want in a massive open world with hundreds of locations, characters, and quests. Join multiple factions vying for power or go it alone, the choices are all yours
- Be whoever you want with the special character system. From a power Armored soldier to the charismatic smooth talker, you can choose from hundreds of perks and develop your own playstyle
- New next generation graphics and lighting engine brings to life the world of fallout. From the blasted forests of the common wealth to the ruins of Boston, every location is packed with dynamic detail
- Intense first or third person combat can also be slowed down with the new dynamic Vault Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S) that lets you choose your attacks and enjoy cinematic carnage
The author cautions that clipping can occur with some animations, poses, camera angles, or interactions. The page also lists missing forearms and a weapon appearing in shadows among known issues. These caveats mean the visible-body effect may not look correct in every situation.
How it compares with True First Person
True First Person is a separate option. It also describes full-body directional movement, and documents optional first-person behavior in situations that normally force another camera view.
