This st-core@v2 template shows how to lay out a mobile budget interface across two phone screens and draw its spending chart with CSS. It is a UI example—not a working finance app: the available description does not establish bank connections, live transactions, or budgeting features.
What the st-core.fscss budget template includes
The template presents a Home screen and a Budget screen inside two separate .phone blocks. Its interface combines a card carousel, finance shortcuts, loan information, a transaction list, and a spending chart. The underlying design is described as a Figma design translated into CSS.
st-core@v2 supplies the design tokens and phone-shell helpers. An icon-mask set provides icons for navigation, menus, search, and finance-related actions. These elements make the project useful for inspecting or adapting a visual layout, but they do not demonstrate that the controls perform real financial tasks.
How the chart is drawn with CSS
The chart uses CSS rather than a charting library in the described implementation. Its data series is declared as an FSCSS @arr budgetData array, and the chart is assembled from four layers:

The article describes clip-path and CSS variables as part of the drawing technique. In practical terms, this makes the chart a styled visual component driven by the template’s declared data; the source description does not establish live data updates or financial calculations.
Inspect the preview or reproduce the template locally
The live preview is described as shipping plain compiled CSS, so viewing it does not require an FSCSS runtime. For local reproduction, the instructions point to the templates/budget-app directory in the repository.

Use the template as a reference for a two-screen mobile finance layout and a CSS-rendered chart. It demonstrates a presentation approach, not a complete budgeting product. Nothing in the available description establishes bank integration, authentication, persistent user data, transaction import, or production-ready financial logic.
