The OnePlus 15R is the stronger on-paper performance choice, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, up to 165Hz display refresh rate and 7,400mAh typical battery capacity. The Nord CE6 Lite (the spelling used on OnePlus India’s product page) offers a 144Hz display, a 7,000mAh battery and microSD expansion up to 2TB. There is no verified like-for-like current price gap: OnePlus places the Nord in India’s ₹20,000–₹25,000 launch segment, but that is not a current configuration price. Compare dated local listings for matching memory tiers before deciding which is better value.

Which phone has better performance and gaming features?
15R: higher-end listed hardware
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 12GB of physical RAM and UFS 4.1 storage give the 15R the stronger performance specification on paper. Its display is listed at up to 165Hz, although OnePlus says the 144Hz and 165Hz modes are limited to specified apps. Those specifications do not by themselves establish how either phone performs in sustained gaming or everyday use; the pages cited here do not provide an independent head-to-head test.
Nord CE6 Lite: game-specific frame-rate claims
OnePlus India advertises support for up to 144 FPS in Subway Surfers and 90 FPS in selected shooters on the Nord CE6 Lite, subject to game and software-update conditions. OnePlus also reports an AnTuTu Benchmark V11 score above 1,030,000 for its 8GB+256GB configuration, based on a OnePlus Test Lab result dated to the 7 May 2026 launch and a stated ambient test temperature of −1.8°C ±1°C. The company says results vary by configuration and test environment, so treat that score as a vendor test result, not a direct comparison with the 15R.

What is the price difference?
A current price difference cannot be established from the available official figures. OnePlus India described the Nord CE6 Lite as positioned in the ₹20,000–₹25,000 launch segment, with data as of 7 May 2026; that statement is neither an exact price for a particular memory variant nor a current checkout price. OnePlus’s bank-discount terms also show why checkout totals can depend on time-limited or conditional offers (OnePlus India bank instant discount terms).
For a useful comparison, check the same country and date, match RAM and storage where possible, and list the standard price separately from bank, exchange or limited-time discounts. The cited pages do not establish the 15R’s current local price or a like-for-like price gap.
Battery life and charging: what the specifications establish
The 15R has the larger stated typical capacity: 7,400mAh versus 7,000mAh for the Nord. Capacity alone does not predict how long a phone will last in a particular person’s use. OnePlus advertises up to two days for the Nord CE6 Lite and a six-year battery-health estimate, while noting that real battery life depends on environmental factors, network, apps, usage habits and device age.

OnePlus’s Nord lab examples report approximately 2.2 hours of Instagram scrolling, 7.5 hours of calling or 1.4 hours of BGMI gameplay at 60 FPS after a 10-minute charge under the company’s stated conditions. These are manufacturer test claims, not independent observations or a directly comparable test against the 15R. For the India 15R, OnePlus says its Test Lab measured a charge from 1% to 50% in around 23 minutes using the official 80W adapter, with the screen off and specified ambient conditions; actual charging varies. That India charging claim should not be conflated with the 55W listing on the US specification sheet.
Storage, cameras and regional details to weigh
Storage flexibility
The Nord’s microSD support is useful if you need more than its built-in capacity, but it comes with a SIM trade-off: a card occupies one of the two SIM positions. OnePlus does not list expandable storage on the cited US 15R specification sheet. Confirm the exact regional model and SIM configuration before purchasing either phone.
Camera hardware is not a photo-quality verdict
The 15R specification sheet names a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide; OnePlus India lists a 50MP main camera and 4K video for the Nord. Megapixel counts and listed hardware do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. The official material cited here does not provide independent side-by-side image testing.

Confirm the model sold in your country
The cited 15R specifications are from OnePlus US, while the Nord CE6 Lite information is from OnePlus India. In particular, charging differs across the cited 15R regional material: the US sheet lists 55W, with up to 80W using a separately named adapter, while OnePlus India promotes 80W. The cited pages do not establish that the Nord’s India configuration, including its 5G bands and features, is available unchanged in every country. Check local network compatibility, warranty coverage, included charger and exact SKU before ordering.
OnePlus India names 15R Sandstone Magnetic Case and Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case accessories. Treat them as possible exact-model options and confirm fit and local availability for the specific 15R variant.
