The OnePlus N6 5G is the clearer choice for someone shopping in India: OnePlus announced India sales channels and launch pricing. OPPO’s Malaysia store lists the A7 Pro Max 5G as “Coming soon,” so its listed Malaysian price does not establish that it is available to buy—or what it will cost—in India. The reported OPPO hardware looks stronger in some headline areas, including its OLED display, selfie-camera resolution and battery capacity, but those specifications come from a third-party comparison and are not a matched test.
Availability and price: these figures are not a direct price comparison
OnePlus announced that the N6 would go on open sale in India starting July 4, 2026, through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and select offline outlets. The manufacturer’s June 30 announcement gave launch prices of ₹22,999 for 4GB + 128GB and ₹24,999 for 6GB + 128GB. It also advertised bank-discount prices of ₹20,999 and ₹22,999, respectively, and Prime Day prices of ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 for July 4–6. These are dated launch offers, not verified current prices. OnePlus’s announcement.
OPPO Malaysia’s official store lists the A7 Pro Max 5G at RM 2,299, with RM 2,499 crossed out, and labels it “Coming soon.” That page establishes a Malaysia-specific listing and status, not a sale date, current stock, or price for India. OPPO Malaysia store.
In a 91mobiles comparison snapshot, the N6 was listed at ₹24,999 on Amazon while the OPPO had no store availability shown. These dynamic third-party listings are not a like-for-like current price check; the OPPO figure from its official store is in Malaysian ringgit. Do not subtract or convert them to claim a same-market price difference. 91mobiles comparison.

OnePlus N6 5G vs OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G specifications
The table separates OnePlus-announced N6 specifications from OPPO figures reported by 91mobiles. The OPPO fields are secondary-source claims, not a complete manufacturer specification sheet; confirm them against the final listing for your market and exact variant.

Which display is better?
On the reported specifications, the OPPO has the panel-type advantage: its 6.78-inch screen is listed as OLED, while OnePlus announced a 6.8-inch LCD for the N6. OLED and LCD can look different in contrast and black levels, but the available figures do not establish panel quality, brightness, resolution, or viewing performance in practice. The 0.02-inch diagonal difference is too small to be a meaningful deciding factor by itself.

Do the camera specifications make OPPO the better camera phone?
The listed front-camera resolution is much higher on OPPO—50 MP versus 8 MP on the N6—but megapixels alone do not determine selfie quality. Image processing, lens, sensor, focus and lighting matter, and no paired camera test is established here. The reported OPPO rear setup adds a 2 MP monochrome camera to a 50 MP main camera; that specification alone does not demonstrate an advantage over the N6’s announced 50 MP rear camera.
Battery capacity and charging: bigger numbers are not a runtime test
OnePlus announced an 8,000 mAh battery and 45W SUPERVOOC charging for the N6. 91mobiles reports 10,000 mAh and 80W charging for OPPO. If those OPPO figures are confirmed for the model sold in your market, they suggest greater stated capacity and faster-rated charging. They do not prove longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time: no matched endurance or charging test is available, and the OPPO regional charger bundle is not established.

Performance: the chipset names do not settle the choice
The announced N6 processor is MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex; the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 attribution for OPPO comes from 91mobiles. A chipset name by itself is not enough to predict how two phones compare in everyday use. The comparison snapshot does not provide matched OPPO benchmark results, so it cannot establish a performance winner.

Which phone should you choose?
Consider the OnePlus N6 if you are buying in India
- OnePlus has announced India sales channels and N6 configurations, giving buyers a clearer India purchase route in the cited information.
- You want OxygenOS 16, the announced IP65 rating, or a known India launch configuration.
- You have checked the live seller price and it suits your budget; launch prices and promotional offers may no longer apply.
Consider the OPPO A7 Pro Max if its local listing confirms the reported hardware
- You value an OLED panel, a higher-resolution selfie camera, or higher stated battery capacity, and OPPO confirms those specifications for the exact regional model.
- You can verify that the phone is actually available in your country, along with its final price, warranty coverage and included charger.
What to verify before ordering
- Check the manufacturer or authorized seller listing for your country; a Malaysian “Coming soon” page does not establish India availability.
- Confirm the exact RAM and storage variant, especially for OPPO, whose reported variants differ across the comparison page.
- Check current seller price, warranty terms and return policy instead of relying on dated launch offers or a third-party price snapshot.
- For OPPO, confirm the final display, camera, battery and charging specifications, and whether an 80W-compatible charger is included or sold separately.
