Which phone is better for your priorities?

Choose Nothing for dedicated optical zoom

The Phone (3a) Pro has a specified 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. That gives it the clearer hardware case if you often photograph distant subjects and want an optical-zoom option rather than relying only on cropping. It also has an 8 MP ultrawide. Those specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos overall; image quality needs comparable real-world testing.

Choose realme for battery capacity, charging and display rate

realme specifies a 7000 mAh battery and 80 W charging, versus 5000 mAh and 50 W for Nothing. It also lists a 144 Hz screen, compared with Nothing’s adaptive 120 Hz display. These are rated specifications, not guarantees of longer everyday runtime or a particular charging time; usage, settings and test conditions matter. realme’s larger stated refresh rate may appeal to people who value smooth scrolling, but the figures alone do not establish which panel looks better.

Consider realme if video features are a priority

realme’s India launch announcement promotes 4K 60 fps recording across the lenses. This makes its video feature set worth considering if that capability matters to you, but a recording specification does not by itself prove better footage. See the realme 15 Series launch announcement for the manufacturer’s stated feature details.

Compare storage, support and handling before you decide

91mobiles lists both phones with Android 15 and three years of OS updates, but lists six years of security updates for Nothing and four for realme. Treat those durations as comparison-site listings and verify each brand’s current policy for your region before buying. The same comparison lists storage options up to 256 GB for Nothing and 512 GB for realme. Smartprix lists realme at 187 g and Nothing at 211 g; if weight matters, confirm the exact regional model rather than relying on a comparison listing alone.

What benchmark listings can—and cannot—tell you

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 3,325 for Nothing and 3,541 for realme, and AnTuTu scores of 809,554 and 1,086,379 respectively. It also lists PCMark battery benchmark results of 14 hours 26 minutes for Nothing and 15 hours 40 minutes for realme. These are figures reported by 91mobiles, not tests conducted for this comparison. They should not be read as guaranteed app speed or daily battery life: benchmark results depend on test conditions and do not substitute for use matching your workload. The results appear on its comparison page.

How to make the final choice

  1. Match the configuration. Compare the same RAM and storage capacity where possible; the listed choices differ, particularly at 512 GB.
  2. Check the live deal. Confirm price, stock, retailer, warranty and region for the exact variant. The listed realme price differs between the two snapshots above.
  3. Rank your priorities. Favor Nothing for its stated 3× optical periscope zoom; favor realme for its higher stated battery capacity, charging wattage, refresh rate and promoted 4K 60 fps video feature.
  4. Verify update commitments. Check the manufacturers’ current support terms for the model and market you are buying in rather than treating a comparison listing as the final policy.
