In India listings viewed on 4 October 2026, the X7 Pro appeared at ₹23,999 and the X8 Power at ₹35,999—a ₹12,000 gap—but the X7 Pro listing does not clearly identify its storage configuration, so this is not a confirmed like-for-like price comparison.

POCO’s page describes the X7 Pro’s global specifications and notes regional availability differences. X8 Power figures above come from secondary reporting, not a matched independent test. Prices are dated India listings rather than guaranteed checkout prices.
Which phone is faster for gaming and demanding tasks?
X7 Pro: the more performance-oriented published platform
POCO identifies the X7 Pro’s Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, with configurations up to 12GB/512GB where available. Those specifications make it the more performance-oriented choice on paper. The comparison sources do not include matched benchmark scores or sustained gaming tests, however, so they do not establish a numeric real-world advantage over the X8 Power.
X8 Power: compare workloads, not clock speeds alone
The X8 Power is reported to use a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. A higher or lower peak CPU clock by itself cannot establish which phone performs better in games or stays faster over a long session. Thermals, software and the particular workload all matter. If demanding games are your priority, look for testing of the exact regional variants you can buy rather than treating a specification table as a performance result.

How do their screens compare?
The X8 Power’s reported 6.83-inch display is 0.16 inches larger diagonally than the X7 Pro’s official 6.67-inch panel. The reported resolutions are 2772 × 1280 for X8 Power and 2712 × 1220 for X7 Pro; both are described as AMOLED with refresh rates up to 120Hz.
That makes the X8 Power the more spacious option for video and reading, while the X7 Pro has the smaller listed screen. These specifications do not show which panel is brighter or more accurately calibrated in ordinary use; the cited sources do not provide equivalent independent measurements.

Battery capacity, charging and the X7 Pro discrepancy
The X8 Power’s reported 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging are its clearest on-paper distinctions from the X7 Pro. Its capacity is a published specification, not a measured runtime result; actual battery life depends on use.
There is a material inconsistency in X7 Pro battery listings. POCO’s global specifications state a typical capacity of 6000mAh and 90W HyperCharge, while 91mobiles’ comparison lists 6550mAh. The cited information does not resolve whether that difference reflects a regional variant or a source error. Check the specifications for the exact market version before comparing capacities. No matched battery-life test is available in these sources.

Camera specifications: megapixels do not pick a winner
POCO lists the X7 Pro with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide and a 20MP front camera. The 91mobiles comparison reports a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 32MP front camera for the X8 Power.
The X8 Power therefore has the higher reported front-camera resolution, but that alone does not establish better selfies. The cited sources do not provide a controlled, side-by-side camera assessment, so they do not support naming an overall camera winner.

India price difference: check the exact variant
On the 91mobiles comparison page, accessed for this comparison, the X7 Pro was listed at ₹23,999 and the X8 Power at ₹35,999—a displayed difference of ₹12,000. The page does not make the X7 Pro configuration behind its price sufficiently clear for a like-for-like comparison.
Gadgets 360’s India listing dated 4 October 2026 gives the X8 Power at ₹35,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹38,999 for 8GB/256GB. Those prices make the storage tier explicit, but they do not clarify which X7 Pro tier is represented by the ₹23,999 comparison-page price.

Do not treat the ₹32,999 effective X8 Power launch price reported on 4 September 2026 as a current standard price: it depended on launch coupon and bank-offer conditions. Retail prices may change with sales, stock and payment offers. Compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, warranty and final checkout total before deciding whether the gap represents genuine savings.
Quick Recap
Which POCO should you buy?
Choose the X7 Pro if performance value is the priority
- You want a performance-focused published platform: Dimensity 8400-Ultra with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0, according to POCO.
- The exact X7 Pro configuration available to you has an attractive current price and local warranty.
- You prefer a smaller listed display than the X8 Power’s 6.83 inches.
Choose the X8 Power if screen size and battery capacity matter more
- You want the larger, reported 6.83-inch display.
- You value its reported 10,000mAh battery capacity and accept that capacity does not guarantee a particular runtime.
- You are comfortable with the reported 229g weight and the higher dated India listings.
Before paying, verify the version you are buying
- Match RAM and storage tiers rather than comparing an unclear listing with a specified one.
- Confirm the regional model’s network-band compatibility, seller authorization and warranty terms.
- Check the live checkout price, including any conditions attached to bank offers or coupons.
- For a decision driven by gaming, battery endurance or camera quality, seek tests of both exact variants; the cited specifications do not establish those real-world winners.
