The POCO X7 Pro looks stronger on the listed hardware: it has an AMOLED display with higher resolution, a more powerful-sounding chipset, and specified battery and charging figures. The Moto g max 5G is reported to have a slightly larger screen and a higher-resolution selfie camera. A comparison snapshot showed the Moto costing ₹3,600 more, but those retailer prices are not confirmed current offers or a like-for-like configuration comparison.

Display: POCO specifies the sharper, higher-end panel
The POCO’s AMOLED panel has a stated resolution of 2712 × 1220 and refresh rate up to 120Hz. The Moto’s reported screen is 0.05 inches larger diagonally, but it is listed as LCD, and the cited comparison does not state its resolution or refresh rate. The Moto is therefore slightly larger on paper; POCO has the stronger documented display specifications.

Performance: POCO has the more compelling listed chipset
Xiaomi identifies the POCO processor as a Dimensity 8400-Ultra with a maximum clock speed up to 3.25GHz. 91mobiles lists a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 for the Moto. These specifications point toward the POCO as the more performance-focused option, but the available information does not include comparable benchmark or real-world test results. Do not treat clock speed alone as a direct measure of overall speed.
Cameras: megapixels do not settle image quality
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main or primary rear camera. Xiaomi also specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide on the POCO; the cited Moto comparison does not establish an equivalent ultrawide camera or stabilization detail. The Moto’s reported 32MP front camera has a higher resolution than the POCO’s 20MP front camera, but megapixel count alone does not show which camera takes better photos. Comparable camera testing would be needed for a quality verdict.

Battery and charging: POCO has stated figures; Moto figures are missing
Xiaomi lists a 6000mAh typical battery and 90W charging for the POCO, and includes a 90W adapter in its package contents. Package contents can differ by region. The cited Moto comparison does not provide battery capacity or charging speed, so it is not possible to make a supported claim about which phone lasts longer or charges faster.
Price difference: a snapshot, not a current-price guarantee
The 91mobiles comparison result showed the POCO X7 Pro at ₹23,999 on Flipkart and the Moto g max 5G at ₹27,599 on Amazon—a nominal difference of ₹3,600, with the Moto higher. These are third-party retailer price indications, not confirmed live or official prices; the comparison does not establish that the listings match in RAM, storage, seller terms, warranty, or availability.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the POCO X7 Pro if you prioritize its specified AMOLED display and resolution, the listed Dimensity chipset, or its stated 6000mAh battery and 90W charging.
- Consider the Moto g max 5G if its exact local listing offers features or a price that suit you, or its slightly larger display and reported higher-resolution selfie camera matter more. Verify the model specifications with the seller or Motorola for your market first.
- For either phone, confirm regional network compatibility, warranty, storage configuration, and seller details. Xiaomi notes that 5G availability can vary by region and local operator support; network support depends on the specific regional SKU and carrier.
For battery endurance and camera quality, seek independent tests that compare the exact models under comparable conditions. The specifications available here do not establish test-based winners.
