The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 has a small lead over the Snapdragon 695 in the benchmark comparisons available here, while both are 6 nm platforms with a Snapdragon X51 modem and Quick Charge 4+ support. That makes the 6s Gen 3 the stronger pick on paper, but the gap is modest and benchmark results are not a controlled, device-to-device test. If you are choosing a phone, its actual configuration and price matter more than the chipset name alone.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 vs Snapdragon 695: key specifications
Qualcomm lists both platforms as 6 nm designs and gives them the same X51 modem and Quick Charge 4+ support. The main published CPU difference is a maximum clock of 2.3 GHz for the 6s Gen 3 versus up to 2.2 GHz for the 695. Clock speed alone does not establish overall performance.
| Specification | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 | Snapdragon 695 |
|---|---|---|
| Process | 6 nm | 6 nm |
| CPU branding | Qualcomm Kryo | Qualcomm Kryo 660 |
| Listed CPU clock | 2.3 GHz | Up to 2.2 GHz |
| GPU on Qualcomm’s product page | Adreno name shown; model number not specified | Adreno 619 |
| Modem | Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System | Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System |
| Image signal processor | Triple ISP described; model name not specified | Spectra 346T |
| Charging support | Quick Charge 4+ | Quick Charge 4+ |
| Display feature | FHD+ support at 120 fps | FHD+ support at 120 fps |
These specifications are from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 695 product pages. Qualcomm describes the 6s Gen 3 as offering upgraded performance and AI capabilities; that is manufacturer positioning, not an independent head-to-head result. The 695 page’s improvement claims refer to its predecessor, not to the 6s Gen 3.
Benchmark comparison: a modest lead for the 6s Gen 3
Two comparison pages currently show the 6s Gen 3 ahead in their displayed CPU and aggregate benchmark results. Their AnTuTu totals differ substantially, so treat each publisher’s scores as that page’s snapshot—not as a universal score or directly interchangeable measurement.

What the benchmark gap means in everyday use
The available results support a limited conclusion: the 6s Gen 3 edges the 695 in these comparison pages. They do not establish a fixed percentage improvement in everyday responsiveness, gaming, heat, or battery life. Qualcomm’s specification pages do not provide directly comparable, device-independent application benchmarks.
A phone’s cooling, memory, storage, display, software, and manufacturer tuning affect how a chipset performs in practice. A higher benchmark result is a useful clue, not a guarantee that every phone using the newer-listed platform will feel faster or last longer.

Choose a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 phone if
- You are comparing similarly equipped phones at similar prices and want the platform with the modest benchmark advantage shown in current comparisons.
- The specific 6s Gen 3 handset also meets your needs for screen, memory, storage, camera, battery, software support, and regional network compatibility.
A Snapdragon 695 phone may still be the better buy if
- It offers a better overall handset configuration, longer or clearer software support, or a more suitable price and warranty in your market.
- You have checked the exact model’s network bands and regional variant rather than relying on the chipset label.
Compare the phones, not only the chipsets
Before choosing between two models, check these handset-level factors. The chipset specifications alone do not settle them:

- Sustained performance: Look for testing of the exact handset, especially if gaming or extended workloads matter.
- Memory and storage: Compare RAM capacity, storage size, and the configurations actually sold in your region.
- Display: Check resolution, refresh rate, brightness, and panel quality. A chipset’s display support does not guarantee the phone uses a particular screen.
- Battery and charging: Compare capacity and observed endurance, as well as the phone maker’s charging implementation. Quick Charge 4+ support does not by itself specify real charging speed.
- Cameras: Compare the sensors and sample images for each model; image processing is part of the handset, not just its ISP.
- Software, bands, and support: Confirm the shipped software version, update policy, network bands, and regional configuration.
- Price and warranty: Check current local pricing and warranty coverage for the exact model.
