The realme P4x is the stronger pick on published specifications if you want a more capable processor, a sharper screen and faster charging. The realme C83 5G offers the same advertised 7000mAh battery capacity, claims IP64 dust and water resistance, and appeared cheaper in a recent Amazon India price snapshot. Which is better depends on the exact RAM and storage variant, live price and your priorities.

The storage figures are the capacities shown in 91mobiles’ comparison summary, not a guarantee that these are the only configurations. Its configuration details list multiple RAM options, and the realme Store confirms that a C83 4GB+64GB variant exists. Check the full RAM and storage configuration on the listing before comparing like-for-like prices.
Which phone performs better?
The P4x has the more capable chipset on the specifications cited: realme names its processor as the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, while 91mobiles lists the C83 5G with the Dimensity 6300. 91mobiles also reports higher benchmark results for the P4x in its comparison. Benchmarks depend on the test and conditions, so they indicate comparative performance rather than guaranteeing how either phone will feel in every app or game.
realme advertises an “780,000+ AnTuTu score” for the P4x based on realme Lab. Treat that as a manufacturer-reported result, not an independent test or a promise of the score on every device.

Which display is sharper?
Both phones are listed with a 144Hz refresh rate, but that does not make their screens equally sharp. The P4x’s listed 6.72-inch FHD+ resolution is higher than the C83 5G’s 6.7-inch HD+ LCD resolution. The P4x also has a stated peak brightness of 1000 nits on realme’s product page. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother; resolution is the more relevant listed difference for fine detail and text sharpness.
Battery capacity and charging speed
Both models are advertised with 7000mAh batteries. The P4x supports 45W charging, while 91mobiles lists the C83 5G at 15W, so the P4x has the higher rated charging speed. A wattage rating alone does not establish an exact time to full charge; actual charging can depend on the charger, cable, temperature and use during charging.
realme’s C83 page presents battery-life figures as lab results and says actual results may vary; its six-year battery-health figure is described as a theoretical calculation. These are manufacturer claims, not independent comparative battery tests.
Camera specifications: megapixels are not the whole story
realme lists a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera for the P4x. 91mobiles lists a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for the C83 5G. Those figures show the stated camera resolutions, but megapixel count alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos. The listed specifications do not provide a full image-quality comparison.

Durability and water resistance
realme advertises IP64 dust and water resistance and military-grade shock resistance for the C83 5G. Its P4x page describes military-grade certified durability but does not establish the same IP64 rating. Do not assume the phones have equivalent water resistance based on the durability wording alone.

A 91mobiles page snapshot crawled three days before October 4, 2026 showed Amazon India prices of ₹23,475 for the P4x and ₹19,999 for the C83 5G—a displayed difference of ₹3,476, with the P4x higher. These are volatile third-party marketplace prices, not official MRPs or guaranteed checkout totals. Check the live listings and match RAM and storage variants before deciding which is better value.
