There is no single benchmark score that applies to every Samsung Galaxy S22. The phone shipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 hardware, and published results use different versions of AnTuTu, Geekbench, and PCMark. The figures below are reported examples, not a guaranteed score for your device.
Samsung Galaxy S22 benchmark results
These results come from different versions, samples, and sources, so they should not be read as a controlled head-to-head comparison.

What the scores measure
AnTuTu: overall device score
AnTuTu combines several device-performance tests into an overall score. The cited S22 figures use AnTuTu v9 and AnTuTu 11, which are different benchmark generations; their totals are not directly comparable as if they came from the same test scale.
Geekbench: CPU performance
Geekbench reports separate single-core and multi-core CPU scores. Single-core reflects work handled by one CPU core, while multi-core measures workloads distributed across several cores. Always compare scores from the same Geekbench generation and identify the tested model or chipset. The cited figures include Geekbench 6 and 7, as well as two different samples within those generations.

- The S22 uses a flat (non‑curved) 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh that dynamically adjusts between 48 – 120 Hz depending on content — which means smoother scrolling and better battery efficiency when high refresh isn’t needed.
- Its main rear camera features a 50 MP sensor with what Samsung calls “Tetra‑binning,” delivering stronger detail in bright light and surprisingly good low‑light photos compared to many older flagships.
- The build quality is designed to feel premium and durable: it uses an Armor Aluminum frame combined with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back, which gives better scratch and drop resistance — nice if you want a relatively compact but rugged flagship.
- For video content and editing, the S22 supports 8K recording — rare for a “smaller” flagship. That means you can shoot very high-resolution video, useful if you care about future‑proofing footage or cropping/editing later.
- The phone strikes a balance of compactness and performance — in a world of increasingly large phones, the S22 remains fairly pocket‑friendly while still packing the 4 nm flagship‑class chipset (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 depending on region) for smooth daily performance.
PCMark: practical workload tests
PCMark Work 3.0 covers a broader range of practical phone workloads than a CPU-only test. The 13,314 NanoReview page summary and the 12,849 score from Digital Citizen’s Exynos review are source-specific reports, not Samsung-certified ratings or directly controlled results.
Why Galaxy S22 scores vary
Snapdragon and Exynos versions
The Galaxy S22 was sold with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Samsung Exynos 2200 configurations. Samsung’s India announcement specified Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for the S22 series in India, but that does not establish the chipset used in every region. Samsung describes Exynos 2200 as an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X2, three Cortex-A710, and four Cortex-A510 cores, paired with Xclipse graphics based on AMD RDNA 2. Those specifications identify the hardware; they do not predict a particular benchmark result.

- This product will have a battery that exceeds 80% capacity relative to new.
Version, device state, and sample size
Benchmark generations can change their tests and scoring, while temperature, power mode, software version, workload conditions, and the phone’s state can affect an individual run. A browser submission is one sample, and a page summary is not necessarily a typical-score guarantee. The available figures do not establish one universal expected score for all Galaxy S22 units.
How to compare an S22 score fairly
When comparing two S22s or comparing the phone with another device, check that the results match on the essentials:

- Compatible with Most GSM and CDMA Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc. Will Also work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Sprint.
- Use the same benchmark version and the same test type—overall device, CPU, or practical workload.
- Identify the S22 model number and chipset; do not treat Snapdragon and Exynos results as interchangeable.
- Check the software version and test date when available.
- Distinguish a single uploaded run from an aggregated page summary or a hands-on review result.
- For a broader performance judgment, consider repeated runs and sustained performance under heat, not just one synthetic score.
How useful are these benchmark results?
They are useful as reference points when the benchmark version, phone configuration, and testing method match. They can help compare similarly tested devices, but a synthetic score is not a substitute for assessing everyday responsiveness, battery behavior, or sustained performance in your own workload.
