The Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 is a 2,048Wh portable power station with 2,400W of maximum continuous AC output, a 4,000W peak rating, and a TT-30R outlet for RV-style connections. Its strongest published selling points are fast charging and expansion to a stated 4kWh with the BP2000 Gen 2 battery. Those figures come from Anker’s US product listing; they are not independent performance-test results.

What the C2000 Gen 2 offers

Anker’s US listing specifies an LFP battery rated at 51.2V, 40,000mAh, and 2,048Wh. It gives a maximum continuous AC output of 2,400W and peak power of 4,000W. Anker also lists 4,000 charge cycles to 80% capacity; that is a stated retention condition, not a promise that the battery remains at full capacity for 4,000 cycles. Can it run a fridge during an outage?

Potentially, if the fridge’s running draw and startup surge fit the station’s output limits and the station has enough usable energy for the desired runtime. A 2,400W continuous rating does not tell you how long a particular refrigerator will run: actual runtime depends on its power demand, compressor cycling, ambient temperature, other connected loads, and conversion losses. Check the appliance label or manual for running and startup requirements, and allow for those variables rather than treating the battery’s 2,048Wh rating as energy that can all be delivered to AC loads.

Anker estimates up to 32 hours for a dual-door fridge on the base station, or up to 64 hours with the expansion battery. These are manufacturer estimates; the product listing does not specify the fridge load, temperature, duty cycle, or independent test conditions. Use them as a rough claim to investigate, not a runtime guarantee for your refrigerator.

  • Ultra-Efficient Power for Longer Runtime: Uses only 9W on standby, powering a dual-door fridge for up to 32 hours.
  • Up to 4kWh Expandable Capacity: Add an expansion battery to reach 4kWh and run a dual-door fridge for up to 64 hours.
  • Six Ways to Recharge, 100% in 58 Min: Experience lightning-fast recharging with AC and solar—fully charged in 58 minutes.
  • Massive 4,000W Peak Power: With 2,400W rated and 4,000W peak output, easily run multiple appliances at once—including most window and RV A/Cs.
  • Recharge On the Go with 800W UltraFast Alternator Charging: Charge to 100% in 3 hours with your car, that's 8× faster than a standard car socket.

Outlets and device compatibility

The US model lists 120V AC outlets, including a NEMA 5-20R rated up to 120V/20A and a TT-30R rated up to 120V/20A. It also lists a 120V, 15A, 1,800W maximum bidirectional inlet-box output. A wattage rating alone cannot confirm that an appliance, RV, transfer arrangement, or home circuit is compatible. Match voltage, plug type, current, and load requirements; have a qualified electrician assess any connection to home wiring.

For smaller devices, Anker lists two USB-C outputs rated up to 140W each, a third USB-C output up to 15W, USB-A up to 12W, and a 12V/10A car-charger output. The USB-C ports are output-only. Anker also notes a shared-output limit involving the lowest-power USB-C and USB-A ports when used simultaneously, so do not assume every port can deliver its individual maximum at the same time.

How quickly does it charge?

Anker lists up to 1,800W AC input and up to 800W solar/PV input. Its charging-time claims are based on Anker internal testing, and the company says actual performance may vary by environment:

Charging method Anker-listed time or input Important condition
AC plus solar 80% in 45 minutes; full in 58 minutes Internal-test timing; actual results vary by environment
AC 88 minutes Internal-test timing; actual results vary by environment
Solar at 800W 3 hours Internal-test timing; actual solar output depends on conditions
Alternator at 800W 3 hours Internal-test timing

The 800W PV figure is an input ceiling, not a guarantee that panels will continuously supply 800W. Sunlight, panel orientation, temperature, shading, and system compatibility affect solar harvest. Anker lists six charging routes: AC, AC plus solar, solar, alternator, car, and gas generator. It lists 2,600W for AC plus solar, 800W for alternator plus solar, 1,800W for AC plus generator, and 100W for car input.

Can AC and solar charge it at the same time?

Yes. Anker says the station accepts AC and solar simultaneously, prioritizing solar and using AC to fill the remaining charging demand. The company’s official US product FAQ states: “Yes. C2000 Gen 2 can be charged via both the grid and solar panels simultaneously, with solar power prioritized and any remaining capacity supplied by AC charging.” Check the current US manual for the required connector and electrical limits before choosing a panel or cable. Although an Anker Australia support search result says the XT60i port is backward compatible with standard XT60 connectors, that regional support page could not be verified in full here; confirm connector, voltage, current, and polarity requirements for the US setup before buying.

Expansion battery and portability

Anker identifies the BP2000 Expansion Battery (Gen 2) as the compatible add-on. It is rated at 2,048Wh and weighs 15.3kg (33.7lb); Anker describes the combined capacity as up to 4kWh. The base station weighs 18.9kg, so the two units together represent a substantial load to move even before cables or other gear. Treat expansion as a way to increase stored energy, not as evidence that the system’s output wattage also doubles.

UPS features and what is not independently established

Anker lists a 10ms UPS figure and four operating modes: Standard, Time-of-Use, Storm Guard, and Fast Charging Plan. The listing does not establish validated transfer behavior for a particular computer, medical device, or home circuit. If uninterrupted operation is safety-critical, check the device manufacturer’s requirements and use a properly specified UPS or backup arrangement.

The specifications and charging/runtime figures discussed here are published by Anker. No independent runtime, noise, charging-speed, or UPS test results are established in the cited product information. That means this review can assess the stated feature set, but cannot confirm how closely real-world results match the advertised claims.

Who should consider it?

  • Outage backup: Consider it for selected appliances and electronics after comparing their actual loads with the station’s output and energy capacity. It is not, by wattage alone, a verified whole-home backup solution.
  • RV use: The listed TT-30R outlet is relevant to RV buyers, but confirm your RV’s electrical requirements and intended hookup before relying on it.
  • Longer off-grid use: The 800W PV ceiling and BP2000 Gen 2 expansion option offer routes to solar charging and more stored capacity. Solar performance depends on conditions, and the added battery increases the weight to transport.
  • Frequent cycling: The stated 4,000 cycles to 80% capacity is useful context, but it is a manufacturer specification rather than independently verified lifespan data.
