The AnkerWork B600 Video Bar (model A3383) combines a 2K webcam, four-microphone array, two speakers and an adjustable light in one unit. Its built-in light and all-in-one call setup are the main attractions for a permanent desk, but reviewers found meaningful trade-offs: it stops at 1440p, tighter digital framing can soften the image, and its long, relatively heavy design may not suit a laptop screen.

What the AnkerWork B600 includes

Anker describes the B600 as a 2K video bar with a 1/2.8-inch sensor, autofocus, auto exposure and white balance, four microphones, two 2 W speakers, and a built-in light. Its VoiceRadar array is intended to reduce background noise, while MagicSight adjusts light brightness and color temperature. These are manufacturer-described features; independent performance observations are covered below.

The light has a second practical role: when folded closed, it covers the camera lens for privacy. The bar also has side controls for microphone mute and light adjustment. It does not support Bluetooth, and its USB-A port is intended for certain Anker wireless headphones with a receiver rather than ordinary data transfer. Anker’s product page and FAQ provide the current manufacturer details.

How well does the B600 perform on calls?

Image quality and framing

Digital Camera World’s Adam Juniper described the B600’s output as 2560 × 1440 pixels and said the light worked well in low-light conditions. In that review’s comparisons, the B600 looked clearer and richer than the 1080p camera in a 2020 iMac. Juniper also reported that narrowing the field of view with digital cropping made the image softer, so tighter framing comes at a cost in effective detail. These are the reviewer’s findings, not results from independent testing for this article. (Digital Camera World review, May 20, 2022.)

  • 【Unmatched 4K Streaming Quality】The NexiGo N680E Pro has a Sony 1/2.5" 4K sensor for ultra-sharp, true-to-life video beyond standard webcams. Stream smoothly at 1080p 60 fps. Its premium coated lens boosts light transmission and reduces reflections for clearer, more vibrant images. Perfect for content creators and live streamers seeking top-tier performance. Note: Output resolution depends on your camera software (e.g., OBS, PotPlayer).
  • 【PDAF Autofocus & Enhanced Audio Clarity】Keep your audience engaged with advanced PDAF autofocus, delivering faster focusing speed, higher precision, and greater stability than traditional AF systems, no matter how you move. Dual noise-reducing microphones capture your voice clearly by filtering out background noise, ensuring clean, distraction-free conversations and streaming.
  • 【Tri-Tone Adjustable Ring Light】The built-in ring light offers three color temperature modes with a simple touch and stepless brightness control by rotating the outer dial. Brighter than typical webcam lights, the N680E Pro provides soft, glare-free illumination so you can easily achieve the perfect lighting for any space.
  • 【Built-in Privacy Shutter】With a simple USB-A plug-and-play connection, this streaming camera works instantly—no drivers, apps, WiFi, or Bluetooth required. The built-in privacy shutter blocks the lens completely to prevent potential hacking or unwanted access, giving you full control over your privacy at all times.
  • 【Widely Compatible】The NexiGo webcam works with Switch 2 (Please use with your own USB-C to USB-A adapter), Windows 7–11, Mac OS 10.6+, and Chrome OS 29+, supporting all major video conferencing and streaming platforms like Zoom, Teams, Skype, and more. Its flexible clip and 80° FOV allow smooth rotation and wide-angle tilting while staying secure, making it easy to find your ideal angle. A standard 1/4" tripod mount ensures stable setup. Ideal for conferencing, gaming, streaming, recording, and online learning.

The launch announcement specified 2K at 30 frames per second and field-of-view settings of 65°, 78° and 90°. Anker’s current UK product comparison table instead lists 65°, 78° and 95°, and the Digital Camera World review describes a 65°–95° range. Because those published values differ, check the documentation for your region and firmware rather than relying on one definitive widest-angle figure. (AnkerWork launch announcement, January 25, 2022; Anker product page.)

Tom’s Hardware also identifies the 1440p ceiling as a limitation compared with 4K alternatives, while noting that many meeting platforms may not use higher resolutions. If your priority is 4K capture, the B600 is not the right fit; if you mainly need a sharp, well-lit image for ordinary video meetings, the ceiling may matter less. (Tom’s Hardware review, 2022.)

Light, microphones and speakers

Juniper called the integrated light the standout feature and reported that it performed well in low light. The same review found the microphone array effective at reducing background sound. The built-in speakers were considered adequate for meeting voices, but weak in bass—an important distinction if you also want the bar for music or fuller-sounding media.

Tom’s Hardware similarly described the speakers as oriented toward conference calls and reported useful auto framing. Taken together, the reviews support the B600 as a convenient call-focused bundle, not as a replacement for dedicated music speakers or a guarantee of a particular result in every room.

Setup, mounting and connections

Anker recommends attaching the bar to a monitor with its folding clip. It also supports mounting on a tripod with a standard 1/4-inch thread. For a laptop installation, Anker recommends a tripod for a more secure setup; reviewers likewise warn that the unit’s size and weight can be awkward on a laptop display. Tom’s Hardware reported a weight of 1.01 pounds and noted that the included data cable was short in its setup.

  1. Mount the bar. Unfold the clip over the top of a monitor and press it against the back, then adjust or rotate the bar. For a laptop or a desk-based camera position, use a compatible, stable tripod with a 1/4-inch mount.
  2. Connect data. Use the included USB-C-to-USB-C cable to connect the B600 to the computer. Anker specifies a separate power connection; the device can be powered by a USB wall charger rated at least 5 V / 2 A.
  3. Adjust controls and settings. Use the side controls for microphone mute and light, and the companion software for feature settings, lighting, color temperature, automatic light adjustment and firmware updates.

Bluetooth is not supported. Anker’s FAQ says the USB-A port is for certain Anker wireless headphones that use a receiver, not general-purpose data transfer. The manufacturer’s setup and product FAQ has the connection guidance.

Who should consider the AnkerWork B600?

  • A good fit: someone who spends a lot of time on video calls at a stable desk and values a combined camera, light, microphones and speakers with fewer separate pieces of equipment.
  • Consider another setup: someone who needs 4K, a compact camera for travel, a lightweight device mounted on a laptop screen, or speakers suited to music and bass-rich audio.
  • For a laptop: consider a tripod rather than relying on the display hinge, and check the mount’s thread fit and stability before buying.

Digital Camera World suggested the Logitech Brio Stream as a direction for buyers seeking higher resolution with separate lighting, and the OBSBOT Tiny 4K for mobile vloggers prioritizing tracking. Those are that reviewer’s directional alternatives, not a current head-to-head comparison; verify present specifications, prices and software on each maker’s product pages before choosing.

The UK product page displayed an anomalous £9,999,999.99 and an email notification option when accessed, so it does not establish a normal selling price or current stock.
