To make a saved Samsung selfie look like the front-camera preview, turn on Save selfies as previewed in the Camera app. Open Camera, switch to the front camera, tap Settings, then enable the option. Its name or location can vary by Galaxy model and software version.
Turn on the Samsung mirror selfie setting

Find Save selfies as previewed and switch it on.

Take a test selfie, then open the saved photo to check its orientation.
Samsung lists this control among its selfie camera settings in its Galaxy camera settings guide and its A-series camera guide.
What “Save selfies as previewed” changes
The setting controls the orientation of saved front-camera selfies relative to what you see on screen. When it is on, Samsung says the photo is saved as it appears in the preview, without flipping. If you want text or other details in the photo to appear in their real-world orientation rather than match the preview, leave the option off.

If the selfie still looks wrong
Check the saved photo, not only the preview
The option concerns the saved image. Take a test selfie and view the resulting photo in Gallery to confirm whether it matches your preference. “Upside down” can describe several different problems; this control is for flipping or mirroring the selfie, not rotating an image that is actually upside down.
The option is missing
Samsung does not promise an identical menu layout or feature availability on every Galaxy device. Check your model’s manual or Samsung Support if Save selfies as previewed is not in Camera settings; the location and availability may depend on the model and software version.

You mean a video call
This Camera setting is documented for saved selfies. The cited Samsung guidance does not establish that it changes the outgoing image in a third-party video-calling app. Check that app’s own camera or call settings instead.
