Yes. A Samsung soundbar can work with a Hisense TV if the exact models share a compatible audio connection. For a wired setup, HDMI ARC or eARC is usually the best place to start; optical is a fallback when both devices have optical ports. Check each model’s manual to confirm its connections, settings, and audio-format support.
Check the connections on both devices
Find the full model numbers and inspect the ports on the TV and soundbar. For HDMI audio return, the TV must have an HDMI port labeled ARC or eARC, and the soundbar must have a corresponding HDMI OUT/TV ARC or eARC connection. Do not assume a regular HDMI input supports ARC.
Hisense manuals show that cable requirements can vary by model: the HS205 manual describes a High Speed HDMI cable for ARC, while the HS512H manual specifies HDMI 1.4 or higher. Follow the instructions for your own devices. [Hisense support]
Connect the soundbar with HDMI ARC or eARC
- Connect the ports: Run an HDMI cable from the Hisense TV’s HDMI ARC/eARC port to the Samsung soundbar’s TV ARC/eARC port.
- Enable the TV audio-return settings: Turn on HDMI-CEC and ARC/eARC in the TV settings. The menu names and steps vary by Hisense model; one Hisense manual gives CEC Control and Audio Receiver as example settings.
- Select the soundbar input: Choose the corresponding HDMI ARC/eARC source on the soundbar.
- Test TV audio and volume control: When configured correctly, ARC can send TV audio to the soundbar and CEC can allow TV-remote volume control. If either does not work, recheck the selected ports and settings against both manuals.
Hisense manuals cover ARC setup and CEC prerequisites for particular models; they do not establish identical menus or behavior across every Hisense TV. [Hisense support]

Choose the connection that fits your needs

Use optical if HDMI ARC/eARC is unavailable
If the TV has an optical output and the soundbar has an optical input, connect them with an optical digital audio cable and select the optical source on the soundbar. If there is no sound, consult both manuals and try a PCM audio-output setting supported by the devices. Do not buy a cable until you have confirmed that both models have the required ports. Confirm Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and other formats separately
A working connection does not guarantee that a particular audio format will work. For formats such as Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, verify support on the TV, soundbar, and source device, then configure the relevant audio output for an appropriate bitstream or passthrough mode. Samsung’s eARC format information is not proof that a particular Hisense TV passes every listed format; the exact manuals determine what the model combination supports. Check whether you already have the right cable
Before buying an HDMI cable, check your existing cables and the soundbar’s box contents. Hisense’s HS2100 listing specifies HDMI eARC/CEC and lists an HDMI cable among the accessories; that is a model-specific example, not a guarantee for other soundbars. [Hisense HS2100 product listing]

Standard shared connections make cross-brand use generally possible, but no model-specific confirmation is possible without the model numbers and manuals.
