The Narwal Flow 2 is a premium robot vacuum and mop built around a rolling-track mop and an automated washing-and-drying dock. Independent reviewers describe it as capable, but they do not agree that its performance justifies the asking price: Android Authority praises its abilities while flagging the cost, whereas Tom’s Guide found it underwhelming for the price. Narwal’s published specifications are impressive, but they are manufacturer claims rather than independent test results.
What the Narwal Flow 2 is designed to do
Narwal presents the Flow 2 as its 2026 flagship and the successor to the original Flow. Its main selling point is the FlowWash rolling-track mop, paired with an automated dock intended to wash the mop and dry it with warm air. The robot also vacuums, navigates with NarMind Pro, and is designed to mop using heated water. These are product features and specifications described by Narwal, not proof by themselves of how well the robot cleans in a home.
Narwal’s US comparison page lists 31,000 Pa suction, mop water up to 60°C, a 100°C dock self-cleaning cycle, and a 7,000 mAh battery. Treat these as Narwal-published specifications, not independently measured outcomes. The company’s EU page emphasizes 60°C hot-water mopping, while its Australian product listing describes automatic detergent dispensing; regional pages may represent different configurations or bundles. Check the listing for your country before assuming a feature or bundle is included. Narwal US Flow comparison, Narwal EU Flow 2 page, Narwal Australia Flow 2 listing.
What independent reviewers found
The available reviews give a more qualified picture than the specification sheet. Android Authority’s April 13, 2026 review describes the Flow 2 as extremely capable but notes its high price and the appearance of discounts from its initial price. Tom’s Guide, after several weeks of use in a review published July 15, 2026, liked some aspects but judged the experience underwhelming relative to the asking price. Those are distinct reviewer assessments, not a single settled verdict. Android Authority review, Tom’s Guide review.

What the reported testing does—and does not—establish
PCWorld’s May 29, 2026 hands-on stress test used eight difficult messes, including raw egg, olive oil, coffee, and mud, and graded each result Success, Pass, or Fail. The available account establishes the test set and grading method, but not every mess’s detailed outcome; it is not enough to assign the Flow 2 a score or claim it excels at a particular spill. PCWorld review.
TechRadar characterizes the Flow 2 as an AI-forward vacuum/mop and reports an April 2026 US launch at premium pricing. Its mention of Narwal replacement accessories does not establish that each accessory fits the Flow 2. Across these sources, the available evidence does not support a complete side-by-side scorecard for wet spills, carpet pickup, obstacle avoidance, mop upkeep, or software reliability. Price, warranty, and regional terms
Narwal’s US comparison page, dated July 7, 2026, lists the Flow 2 at $1,299.99, down from a stated $1,499.99 launch price. Those are dated US figures, not a guaranteed live offer. Android Authority also noted discounts appearing from the initial price; check the current price, seller, inventory, dock version, and bundle before buying. Narwal US Flow comparison.
The same US comparison page reports a one-year limited warranty and 30-day returns. These terms are tied to that page and region; Narwal’s EU page promotes official warranty support, but the terms applicable to a particular buyer depend on country, seller, and current policy. Confirm the applicable warranty and return rules with the retailer or regional Narwal store before purchase. The Australian product listing may also reflect a different bundle. Who should consider the Flow 2?
The Flow 2 may suit someone seeking a premium vacuum-and-mop robot with a rolling-track mop and dock automation, and who is comfortable evaluating the purchase at the price and terms available in their region. The divided value judgments among reviewers matter most if price is central to the decision: Android Authority found a capable machine despite the cost, while Tom’s Guide was less impressed with the value.
Do not assume ongoing upkeep costs or compatibility from generic Narwal accessories. The available product information does not establish a Flow 2-specific catalog of compatible dust bags, filters, brushes, detergent, or mop components. Verify each item against an official Flow 2 parts listing before ordering. Privacy details for the camera and quantified bacteria- or allergen-reduction outcomes are likewise not established by the cited materials; do not infer them from navigation or heat-related marketing claims.
