Shock Rocks are a Fortnite movement effect that lets a player make extra jumps in mid-air. A guide for Chapter 7 Season 3, published June 25, 2026, described Battle Royale ways to find or earn a charge and how to activate it. Those locations and mechanics are season-specific, not a guarantee of what is available in Battle Royale now.
How to get Shock Rocks in Battle Royale
In its June 25, 2026 guide for Chapter 7 Season 3, Beebom reported that players could find Shock Rocks in chests and as floor loot, including around the Zero Point and near Extraction Sites. These are dated, season-specific locations; present-day Battle Royale availability has not been verified. Read Beebom’s guide.
Earn a charge with an Aura Sprite
The same guide described another route: equip an Aura Sprite and deal enough damage to enemies to receive a Shock Rock charge. It does not establish that this route is still available in a later season.
How to use a Shock Rock
- Obtain a Shock Rock charge through a route available in your game mode and season.
- Consume the Shock Rock to activate its movement effect, as described in the Chapter 7 Season 3 guide.
- Use the extra mid-air jumps to gain height or reposition. The guide says the effect allows up to three jumps, with each jump carrying the player higher.
The guide also reports that the effect prevents fall damage. Treat that as a guide-reported mechanic rather than a currently verified Battle Royale rule.

Shock Rocks can work differently by Fortnite experience
Epic Games’ June 5, 2026 article about Fortnite: Runners confirms Shock Rocks are used for triple-jumping in that experience. Its description does not confirm current Battle Royale availability or establish that the Battle Royale acquisition routes are the same. See Epic’s Fortnite: Runners article.
Creator-made islands can also define their own effects. A Fortnite Communities Community Team post about SUPER RED VS BLUE lists extra leaps, structure destruction, an effect on nearby teammates, 25 HP of healing, and recharging over time. Those are features of that island’s implementation, not standard Battle Royale mechanics. See the island post.

What is not confirmed for Battle Royale now
The available dated guide does not establish whether Shock Rocks remain in the current Battle Royale loot pool, whether they still appear at the reported locations, or whether their mechanics are unchanged. Check current in-game information or an official update for the season you are playing before relying on those details.
