Use it to search TDK parts, review product records and technical resources, and check a part’s listed status. For distributor inventory and online ordering, use the regional TDK Electronics search route where available; a Product Center listing alone does not establish that a part is in stock or orderable in your region.
What is TDK Product Center?
TDK Corporation announced the portal on May 15, 2014, as a single access point for product information covering the TDK, EPCOS and TDK-Lambda brands. TDK described it as a resource for design and development engineers, purchasing professionals and other users worldwide. At launch, it was available in English, Chinese and Japanese; those language details describe the 2014 launch, not necessarily current availability. TDK’s launch announcement characterized the search tool as supporting multiple product searches, BOM copy-and-paste, and wildcards.
The current English homepage combines product search and category browsing with application guides, selection guides, technical support tools and a technical library. That makes it useful both when you know what kind of component you need and when you need engineering material to assess a candidate. Open the TDK Product Center homepage.
How to find a part or explore the catalog
Search by part number or keyword
The homepage prompt is “Search by Part No. or Keyword.” For a known code, the dedicated part-number page accepts wildcard patterns and multiple entries. Its rules are specific: ? matches one character, * matches a sequence, searches normally match from the prefix, and appending ! requests a suffix search. Enter one part number per line to search up to 50 numbers at once. See TDK’s part-number search page for the current interface.

For example, a pattern such as ABC* can find codes beginning with ABC, while *ABC! requests a suffix search for ABC. Check the results carefully: a wildcard is a way to broaden matching, not confirmation that two returned parts are interchangeable.
Browse categories and engineering resources
If you do not have a part number, use the homepage’s category browsing and search options to find relevant products. Then consult applicable selection guides, application guides, technical support tools and library material to evaluate the design context. Catalog discovery can narrow candidates, but technical suitability depends on the specific component record and its documentation.

How to read search results and product status
The result interface provides filters for catalog file, series/type/model/general information, and product status. Listed status categories include:
- Production
- Production (NRND)
- In Development
- Preliminary
- Build-To-Order
- EOL announced
- Obsolete
- Accessory for Evaluation
Status is relevant to lifecycle planning as well as discovery. Before designing around a part or trying to source it, open the specific listing and verify its current record; a general search result or category page is not a substitute for checking the selected part’s status.

Product Center versus distributor search and ordering
The global Product Center is a product-information and engineering-resource portal. TDK Electronics’ separate product-search information describes searching by technical parameter, ordering code, cross-reference and withdrawn products, then checking distributor inventory and ordering online. Those inventory and ordering features are described for that TDK Electronics route, not guaranteed for every Product Center listing or every region. Use the relevant regional page and distributor information to confirm availability for a specific part.
TDK Product Center reported 124,782 products on its search page when accessed on October 4, 2026. The page did not give that displayed count a publication date, so it should be treated as a snapshot rather than a stable catalog statistic. For context only, TDK’s 2014 launch announcement reported a database of over 80,000 products at that time.
