There is no reliable evidence establishing one microphone as Juice WRLD’s exclusive or usual choice. The clearest named association is a Rode NT1-A in footage of him recording “All Girls are The Same”; other clips are linked to Neumann microphones. Those are session-specific attributions, not proof of a consistent preference.

What microphone did Juice WRLD use?

Equipboard’s community-built Juice WRLD microphone and studio-equipment listing associates several microphones with different recording clips. It identifies a Rode NT1-A in footage of “All Girls are The Same” and reports that the engineer in the video confirmed the microphone and a Focusrite iTrack Solo interface. This is the clearest specific session attribution, but the original exchange is not independently verified here.

The same catalog links other models to separate clips. These associations do not establish which microphone Juice WRLD used most often, or whether any was his preferred choice.

Microphones associated with specific footage

Microphone Reported clip or context What the source supports
Rode NT1-A “Juice WRLD Recording And Mixing ‘All Girls are The Same’ In The Studio (RAW FOOTAGE)” Equipboard says the microphone is visible and reports that the engineer confirmed it, along with a Focusrite iTrack Solo interface.
Neumann U87 Footage of Juice WRLD recording an unreleased song Equipboard associates the model with this clip; it does not establish frequency of use.
Neumann U 87 Ai “Juice Wrld recording Kung fu” Equipboard associates the model with this clip; it does not establish frequency of use.
Neumann TLM 49 “Juice WRLD Recording ‘Scared Of Love’ in the Studio with the TLM 49” Equipboard lists the microphone in connection with this clip.
Neumann TLM 103 A video entry referring to footage at 0:07 Equipboard attributes the model to the footage and also mentions a U 87 Ai; the listing gives too little detail to infer a broader preference.
Shure SM7B Instagram Live appearance Equipboard associates it with a live-stream context, not a studio vocal-tracking session.

Why the session details matter

A visible microphone is not a career-long preference

A microphone shown in one recording session establishes, at most, an association with that session. The clips in Equipboard’s listing point to different models, and the catalog does not provide evidence about how often each was used. It is more accurate to name the clip and microphone together than to call any one model “Juice WRLD’s mic.”

RØDE NT1 Signature Series Studio Condenser Microphone, Black
  • COMPLETE VOCAL SETUP: shock mount, pop filter and XLR cable included, add an interface and record
  • THE SOUND OF HIT RECORDS: the legendary NT1 large-diaphragm condenser voicing trusted in studios for two decades
  • WHISPER-QUIET: among the lowest self-noise microphones ever made, nothing between you and the take
  • BUILT FOR VOCALS AND STREAMS: tight cardioid pattern focuses on the voice, rejects the room
  • IN THE BOX: NT1 Signature (Black), SM6 shock mount with pop filter, XLR cable and dust cover

Studio recording and livestreaming are different contexts

The Shure SM7B entry concerns an Instagram Live appearance. It should not be treated as evidence that the microphone was used to record studio vocals. The other listed associations refer to recording footage.

A microphone attribution does not establish the full vocal chain

A July 9, 2026 Meshplugins article about Juice WRLD’s microphone and vocal chain describes a reported Neumann U87 and Neve 1073 pairing. The article itself cautions that its compilation may be inaccurate, and the cited passage does not provide independent primary evidence. Treat that chain as unverified rather than as an established studio setup.

How strong is the evidence?

Equipboard describes its equipment list as community-built and summarizes gear appearances and reported session details. It is useful for identifying models linked to particular clips, but it is not the same as direct, verified testimony from Juice WRLD or an engineer. Equipboard’s report of the engineer’s NT1-A confirmation should therefore remain attributed to the catalog unless the original video exchange is checked.

The reviewed sources provide no verified direct statement from Juice WRLD or a named engineer declaring a preferred microphone. They also provide no basis for ranking the listed models by frequency of use. For a reader looking for the best-supported single answer, the Rode NT1-A is the clearest clip-specific association, not a proven universal choice.
