Avian Alarm is a completed, five-stage ARC Raiders project introduced with the Riven Tides update. Its first task was to place a bird trap beside the Seabed buoys; the remaining four stages required donating materials, including four kinds of Ship Model trinkets. This historical guide lists each requirement and reward. The project is no longer playable as of October 4, 2026.
How the Avian Alarm Project worked
Embark described Avian Alarm as a project to build “a makeshift security system to sense tremors and atmospheric changes.” Raiders first completed a map objective, then returned to Speranza to donate items across four further stages. The official Riven Tides announcement confirmed five stages and a total payout of 250 Raider Tokens.
The project has ended. Secondary references disagree on whether its final day was May 25 or May 26, 2026; the official announcement gives May 25 as the end of the separate Last Resort event, not a confirmed closing date for Avian Alarm. Neither date should be treated as an authoritative project end date.

Where to place the bird trap
- Enter a Riven Tides match and travel to the Seabed buoy area, northeast of the Port Authority Building.
- Find one of the marked placement spots beside the buoys and place the bird trap there. The launch-era PC Gamer walkthrough says you did not need to bring a special item into the match for this step.
- Return to Speranza and claim the completed objective on the Avian Alarm project screen. You can then proceed to the material donations.
What the Dockmaster’s Detector does
The Dockmaster’s Detector is an in-game tool awarded for stage one, not real-world detector equipment. Embark described it as a tool for sweeping Riven Tides sand during the Beachcombing map condition to uncover buried loot. The official announcement explains its role and the project’s overall rewards.

Completing all five stages paid 250 Raider Tokens in total. The full completion rewards included the Dockmaster’s Detector, Gel Patches, Bird House backpack attachment, and Fist In Air emote, as well as the stage-specific intermediate rewards listed above. The official announcement confirms the headline rewards and token total; the detailed project listing provides the individual stage rewards.
