To get a Samsung One UI beta, sign in to the Samsung Members app with your Samsung Account, find the beta registration offer for your Galaxy device and market, and submit a participation request. If accepted, check Settings > Software update > Download and install for the beta. Offers are limited and released in phases, so the option may not appear for every device, country, account, or program period.
Before you enroll: check availability and back up
Samsung limits the One UI Beta Program to specific devices, operating-system versions, countries, and enrollment periods. A Galaxy phone being relatively new does not by itself make it eligible. The practical check is the current beta offer in Samsung Members.
Samsung’s published One UI 9 announcements illustrate how availability changes over time. On May 12, 2026, Samsung said the beta would begin with the Galaxy S26 series in select markets, including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S. On September 1, 2026, Samsung announced an expansion listing the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 FE in select markets, including India, Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. Samsung notes that timing and availability vary by market; these dated announcements are not a guarantee that a specific device can enroll now. Samsung’s May 12, 2026 One UI 9 announcement and September 1, 2026 expansion announcement provide the published snapshots.
Back up your phone before installing. Samsung recommends using Smart Switch on a computer because beta software may behave unexpectedly and can result in data loss. Update your apps before installing as well, and use Wi-Fi for the download where possible. Samsung says participation itself has no fee, though data or mobile-network charges may apply to downloads and error-log uploads.

How to register through Samsung Members
- Install or update Samsung Members through Galaxy Store or Google Play, then sign in with your Samsung Account.
- Open Samsung Members and look for a beta banner or Beta Card, then choose the One UI Beta Program registration option if it is offered.
- Read and submit the participation request. Registration is a request to join the available program, not a promise that every account or device will receive an offer.
Samsung’s One UI Beta Program FAQ describes the process and eligibility limits. If there is no registration option in Members, see the availability checks below rather than assuming the phone can be enrolled through another route.
How to download and install the beta
After enrollment, open Settings > Software update > Download and install and check for an update. You can also check the participated beta test detail page in Samsung Members. A beta rollout may be gradual, so enrollment does not guarantee that the download appears immediately.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.

When the update is offered, follow the on-screen installation steps. Keep the phone charged and connected to Wi-Fi if practical. Because this is test software, expect that features may be incomplete or missing and that bugs or other unexpected behavior are possible.

Report a problem during beta testing
Submit feedback through the participated beta feedback flow in Samsung Members. Samsung instructs participants to send an error report within three minutes of encountering the issue and keep Members open until it confirms submission; confirmation can take up to five minutes. Include the issue promptly so the report can capture useful diagnostic information.

How to withdraw or return to the official software
Withdrawing from the program and removing beta software already installed are separate steps.
If you enrolled but have not installed the beta
In Samsung Members, go to Settings > Beta program settings > Withdraw from beta program. If you never installed beta software, Samsung says you can withdraw and continue using the current official version.

If beta software is already installed
First withdraw in Samsung Members using the same menu path. Then use Smart Switch for PC to downgrade to the prior release. Samsung says rollback resets the device and removes data generated during beta testing, so restore from a backup if one is available. A Samsung service center can assist if needed.
When will the final update arrive?
Samsung does not promise a specific date for the release version. Beta participants may need to wait while Samsung analyzes feedback and prepares a rollout, and timing can vary by device and market.
