Is 400 ANSI lumens bright enough?
It can be a practical brightness level for a smaller image in a darkened room, but it is modest for projection in ambient light. The brighter the room and the larger the projected image, the harder it is to see a vivid, clear picture. The 400 ANSI-lumen figure comes from Anker; it does not guarantee a particular result in every room or at every screen size.

For an outdoor movie, plan to watch after dark and control nearby light as much as possible. The published specifications do not establish daylight visibility or performance under a particular outdoor setup. If a bright-room picture is a priority, compare projectors using independent testing and consider a brighter model.
Image size and placement
Anker specifies a 30–150-inch image, a 1.2:1 throw ratio and a throw distance of 0.8–4.0 m. The maximum size is a supported range, not a promise that a 150-inch image will look equally bright or suit every room. Check the available distance and intended image size before buying.

The projector supports automatic focus, keystone correction, screen fit and obstacle avoidance, according to Anker. These features are intended to simplify setup, but they do not eliminate the need to position the projector sensibly. Battery life: what “up to 2.5 hours” means
Anker advertises up to 2.5 hours of movie playback and up to 8 hours of music playback on a full charge. These are published maximums. The available product information does not state the playback mode, brightness, sound level or test conditions behind either figure, so treat them as estimates of best-case capability rather than expected runtime for every movie session. A longer film or an evening of continuous viewing may require access to power.

HDMI, USB and audio
The projector has HDMI 2.1/ARC and USB connections, according to Anker. The guide documents playback from HDMI devices and USB drives, as well as connections to external audio devices. HDMI is useful for a console, laptop or other source; it is not needed for the built-in Google TV apps. The built-in dual 8 W speakers may be sufficient for casual viewing, while Bluetooth or a wired external audio setup offers another option where compatible.

Optional setup accessories
An HDMI cable can be useful if you plan to connect a console, laptop or another external source; it is unnecessary for built-in Google TV streaming. A 16:9 screen is another option if you want a dedicated projection surface. Match its size and mounting to your space, and do not assume a screen is included.
