What happens if you choose the wrong drink?
The walkthroughs say a rejected drink causes a small loss of standing with that customer and is crossed off their available choices, allowing you to try another option. Neither guide gives a numeric standing loss or establishes a lasting relationship effect. They also report that Floyd, Gunger Hahn, and Max Mustermann accept any offered drink without that penalty.

The sources do not establish a special buff or unique relationship gain for giving someone their listed match. If you want to avoid the reported standing penalty, use the table; if you experiment, the guides describe the consequence as limited rather than a quest failure.
How to progress through The Coffee Run
According to the walkthrough, Bou waits at Cafe Poccocup on Friday. Accept the job, deliver orders in groups of four, then return to the cafe and speak with Bou to receive the next group. This sequence is guide-reported, rather than an officially documented quest procedure.

Quest deliveries are not restaurant menu effects

They are distinct from the way drinks perform on a restaurant menu, where community game-data analysis says customer satisfaction depends on value, ingredient rarity, price fit, and local-favorite ingredient tags. That same explanation says customers choose from in-stock dishes and drinks within 30 points of the top-ranked item for their group, and reports an 80% chance of ordering a drink alongside a selected meal.
