It lists current outages, active maintenance and planned maintenance separately. Match the notice to the eShop service and activity you need, then use the page’s own dates and times.

Open Nintendo Support for your region and select Network status, or go directly to the official regional network maintenance and status page. Nintendo’s U.S. support pages link to the status page, and Nintendo Japan’s FAQ directs Switch 2 and Switch users to its network status resource. On the status page, look separately at current outages, current maintenance and the future maintenance schedule. A planned window is not the same as a current outage, and a current maintenance notice may concern a different service. Nintendo Network Maintenance Information / Operational Status

Check the affected service and the activity you are trying to perform, such as opening eShop, making a purchase, downloading software or redeeming a code. Nintendo may list notices with the same service name separately when the affected area differs; a notice for another Nintendo service does not establish that eShop is unavailable.

Read the notice’s date, approximate start and end times, and any ongoing status. Use the dates and times displayed on the regional page that applies to your account and console; the available sources do not establish one timezone convention for every regional page.

If the notice says maintenance is in progress, wait until the window has ended and try again. For error code 2813-9200, Nintendo says eShop server maintenance is ongoing and advises redeeming a download code after maintenance ends. Nintendo Support: Error Code 2813-9200

What the status page can—and cannot—tell you
Nintendo warns that operational-status updates may be delayed and that maintenance lasting less than five minutes may not be posted. So an empty page does not rule out a brief or newly developing issue. Recheck the live regional page before deciding the cause is your connection. If the notice does not match your eShop activity, or your connection problem continues after a listed maintenance window, troubleshoot the console and network rather than assuming Nintendo’s servers remain down. For a white screen or 403 Forbidden error when loading eShop, Nintendo recommends checking status and then trying these steps as applicable: Nintendo Support: Unable to Load Nintendo Switch eShop (White Screen)

Reset the console cache.

If you use manual DNS and the problem persists, restore DNS settings to Automatic.

Toggle airplane mode, then restart the console.

Try a different wireless network.

Install the latest system update.

Check whether other devices can use the same internet connection. If their internet access is also unavailable or unstable, Nintendo advises contacting your internet service provider.
