CloudSEK announced on May 20, 2025, that it raised $19 million across its Series A2 and Series B1 rounds—not in Series B1 alone. The enterprise cybersecurity company said it will use the funding for product innovation, AI model development, platform integrations, and global expansion.
What CloudSEK raised and who participated
CloudSEK’s announcement names MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and strategic investor Commvault among the participants. It also says earlier backers Meeran Family, StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures continued their support. The announcement does not identify a lead investor. CloudSEK’s funding announcement and SecurityWeek’s coverage both frame the $19 million as spanning Series A2 and B1.
What CloudSEK’s platform is designed to do
CloudSEK describes itself as a predictive cyber threat intelligence provider. Its platform is intended to monitor an organization’s digital exposure and identify potential early attack signals, including leaked credentials, exposed APIs, and compromised vendors. SecurityWeek’s report also describes monitoring across the attack surface, supply chain, infrastructure, web and mobile applications, and devices.
These descriptions explain the company’s positioning, not independently verified detection results. In its announcement, CEO Rahul Sasi contrasted the company’s approach with threat intelligence focused on indicators of compromise after an attack, saying CloudSEK aims to detect signals before an incident. The announcement does not independently establish how early the platform detects threats or how its performance compares with other products.

How CloudSEK says it will use the funding
The company said the capital will support continued product innovation and expansion into global markets, with particular attention to advancing AI models and integrating the platform with other systems. These are stated priorities; the announcement does not assign a dollar amount to each area.
CloudSEK also reported that it served more than 250 enterprises and that over 60% of net new revenue came from international markets. It cited a 4.8-star rating across 195 Gartner Peer Insights reviews. These are figures published in CloudSEK’s announcement, rather than independently audited metrics. Its finance VP, Kalyan Kumar Vattipalli, said the company had grown ARR threefold over the prior 24 months; that growth statement is likewise attributed to the executive.

The funding story is about enterprise cybersecurity software, not a consumer device or physical Amazon product. The announcement documents CloudSEK’s financing, named investors, intended spending, and company-reported business figures. It does not offer an independent product evaluation or substantiate a comparison with named competitors.
CloudSEK’s company history later describes the launch of Nexus in 2025 as an AI-powered cybersecurity command center bringing threat intelligence and attack-surface insights together. That is the company’s description of a later product milestone, not evidence that the funding itself produced independently measured security outcomes. CloudSEK’s company history provides that context.
