Portal26 announced a $9 million Series A on November 4, 2025, led by Shasta Ventures. Fusion Fund and the venture arm of an unnamed Fortune 500 financial-services institution also participated. Portal26 said it would use the funding for continued growth and product innovation.
Who invested in Portal26’s Series A?
Portal26’s announcement names Shasta Ventures as the lead investor, alongside Fusion Fund and the venture arm of an unnamed Fortune 500 financial-services institution. The company also said it had raised a $6 million seed round in 2022. These amounts and investor details come from Portal26’s November 4, 2025 announcement; the release does not disclose the Series A’s valuation or other terms.
Portal26 said some customers had made multi-year commitments, including commitments “up to 7 figures.” That is a company-reported claim, not an independently verified revenue or bookings figure. The announcement also quotes Shasta Ventures managing director Jacob Mullins and Fusion Fund founder and managing partner Lu Zhang in support of the company.
What does Portal26’s platform do?
Portal26 describes its software as an enterprise AI adoption-management platform. Its product materials group the offering around discovering AI use, securing and governing it, and measuring value. In practical terms, it is aimed at organizations trying to understand which AI tools and agents employees use, manage associated risks and policies, and assess where AI investment is delivering value.

Portal26 lists Shadow AI discovery, user-intent and use-case analysis, and license intelligence among its capabilities. These are intended to help organizations see AI activity and understand how tools and licenses are being used. The company’s descriptions do not, by themselves, establish how well the product detects activity in a particular organization or which integrations are available.
Security and governance
The company lists prompt protection, audit and forensics, policy management, AI risk management, and agent management. Portal26 presents these functions as ways to apply oversight to enterprise AI use; its claims should be evaluated against an organization’s requirements for policy enforcement, data handling, audit trails, and integration with existing security systems.

Value realization
In a February 2026 announcement, Portal26 said its Value Realization module had joined Shadow AI discovery and GenAI security as key product pillars. The company says the module helps enterprises focus AI investment and usage on higher-value applications and agents. This describes the product’s intended role, not independently established customer outcomes.
What do Portal26’s scale and ROI figures show?
Portal26’s current website, accessed in 2026, displays claims of more than 1 billion transactions per month, more than 550,000 users, and 72 hours to ROI. The website material reviewed does not provide a methodology or independent validation for these figures, so they should be treated as company-published marketing claims rather than verified performance measures. The funding announcement separately includes an investor quotation describing hundreds of thousands of enterprise GenAI users monitored; that, too, is a quotation within the company’s release.

CEO Arti Raman said the company built Portal26 to provide “the visibility, security, governance, and strategic analytics necessary for companies to manage their transition for the new normal of how work gets done in the enterprise.” The announcement’s stated use for the new capital is continued growth and product innovation.
The announcement establishes what Portal26 reported about the round and its plans. It does not disclose a valuation, independently substantiate the company’s traction or website metrics, or verify the terms of customer commitments. Portal26’s trust center displays a SOC 2 item dated 2026, but the available material does not provide enough detail to characterize its scope or the underlying report.

What should enterprise buyers evaluate?
Organizations considering AI adoption-management software can use Portal26’s stated product areas as a starting point for a requirements review. A product comparison should test the organization’s own use cases rather than rely on category labels or headline metrics.
- Coverage of public AI services, internally sanctioned tools, and AI agents.
- Visibility into prompts and data, and the controls available to protect sensitive information.
- How policies are enforced, and what audit and forensic records are available.
- Integration with existing DLP, SIEM, or SOAR systems, plus deployment options.
- Privacy and data-retention controls, including how employee activity is handled.
- Whether adoption and cost analytics can be tied to measurable outcomes, with evidence a buyer can validate.
Portal26 says it has relationships in systems-integrator, reseller, and cloud/security partner ecosystems. That statement does not establish a current partner program, its availability, or commission terms.
