Mela Lee was listed as a guest at FanX Salt Lake 2026 and is identified by the convention as the voice of Jade in Mortal Kombat 11. But the official FanX guest page does not document a Jade-future tease from Lee at the event. The line often cited about more Jade storylines comes from a separate report of a 2024 Instagram Q&A, not from FanX.
What was confirmed at FanX 2026?
FanX listed Lee as a guest for its September 24–26, 2026 event at Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. Its official guest biography describes her as best known as the voice of Jade in Mortal Kombat 11. The event dates have passed.
The official guest page does not mention Lee discussing Jade’s future or announcing a return for a particular game. The title’s suggestion that she teased Jade’s future at FanX is therefore not supported by that page.
What did Mela Lee say about more Jade storylines?
A GameFAQs forum post reports that Lee said during an Instagram Q&A in December 2024: “There are more storylines for Jade, I just don’t know where they will be or when they’re coming.” The post also says she discussed meeting NetherRealm Studios. The original Instagram post or recording was not independently verified, so this should be treated as a secondary report of an earlier statement—not as a confirmed FanX quote.

- Jade, Mortal Kombat Trilogy action figure.
- Jade's weapon of choice metal staff is included in the box.
Does this confirm Jade is returning to Mortal Kombat?
No specific game, release window, downloadable-content pack, or confirmed Jade appearance follows from the reported comment. It indicates only that Lee was quoted as saying more storylines existed, while she did not know where or when they would appear. It is not a current announcement of a return.
FanX photo-op listing
FanX ticketing pages listed Lee photo-op sessions at $60 per session on the 2026 event page. This is a historical listing, not a current offer, and it provides no evidence about Jade’s future in the games.
