There is no single best weapon for every Solo Leveling: Arise player. The strongest choice depends on the hunter you use, the weapon-and-skill combination you build around, and the latest balance changes. As a dated starting point, Pocket Gamer’s September 2, 2026 tier list for version 1.4.46 recommends Demonic Plum Flower Sword, The Huntsman, Thethis’ Grimoire, and Demon King’s Longsword as Custom Draw priorities when focusing on weapons. Those are editorial rankings, not official Netmarble recommendations.
Best weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise: the September 2026 shortlist
Pocket Gamer’s tier list, updated September 2, 2026 for game version 1.4.46, puts the following weapons among its top overall picks. Its separate Custom Draw advice names four priorities for players focusing on weapons. Use the list as a snapshot and shortlist—not as a guaranteed ranking for every hunter, build, or mode.

The overall S+ label is not, by itself, a reason to spend draw resources. The guide supplies tier judgments, not a resource-efficiency comparison for every account, advancement level, or game mode. It also does not provide comparable damage figures that would establish a universal winner.
How to choose a weapon for your hunter and build
Start with the hunter you plan to use
Check whether a weapon is the intended hunter’s signature or default weapon. Pocket Gamer says a hunter becomes stronger when equipped with their default weapon and recommends seeking a top hunter’s weapon as well. The source does not quantify the benefit, so treat pairing as a useful selection principle rather than a promised damage increase.

Consider the whole weapon-and-skill combination
Netmarble describes combat as a way to create different styles by selecting combinations of skills and weapons. A weapon’s value therefore depends on how it fits the build you are preparing, not only on its position in a tier list. The available sources do not establish a best weapon for each element or every combination.
Check current details before committing resources
- Choose the hunter or team you intend to build.
- Use the dated tier list to identify candidates, then compare each candidate with your intended hunter and weapon-and-skill setup.
- Review the weapon’s current in-game description and availability before spending draw resources.
- Check whether a newer game update has changed the weapon or relevant balance before relying on an older ranking.

Why the date matters
Netmarble’s official August 27, 2026 update introduced the Sung Jinwoo-exclusive SSR weapon Spirit Blade: Snowstorm and said that select Sung Jinwoo weapons, hunters, and artifact set effects received balance adjustments. Pocket Gamer’s tier list followed on September 2 and is marked version 1.4.46. Any subsequent changes could make that snapshot outdated, so check the current in-game information before acting on it.
