The 2011 Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection contains three arcade games: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. It is a different release from the later, broader Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, whose June 2025 announcement listed arcade, home-console, and handheld versions of numerous games.
What games are in Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection?
The 2011 Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection brings together these three games in their original arcade versions, according to its 2011 announcement:

How does Legacy Kollection differ?
Digital Eclipse’s June 2025 announcement described Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection as a larger collection drawing from arcade, home-console, and handheld releases. Its listed games and versions are below. The announcement described the lineup as titles announced “so far” and indicated that more were coming, so this is the announced list at that date, not a confirmed final catalog.

What features and platforms are listed for Legacy Kollection?
The official PlayStation product listing identifies Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection for PS4 and PS5. It describes online battles with rollback netcode, an interactive documentary, original-developer interviews, archival material, character histories, and a series timeline. These are collection-level features; the listing does not establish that every included legacy version has the same modern features.
Which collection should you look for?
- Choose Arcade Kollection if you mean the 2011 compilation of the original arcade trilogy: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
- Look for Legacy Kollection if you mean the broader historical collection, with selected home and handheld versions as well as arcade games.
A Mortal Kombat-themed arcade cabinet is a separate hardware product, not the 2011 downloadable compilation. For example, an Arcade1Up manual for the Mortal Kombat Midway Legacy 30th Anniversary Edition lists Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 among its games; verify the exact cabinet model and its current game list before buying.
