To stream an MLB playoff game while traveling, check the game’s broadcaster on MLB’s official 2026 postseason schedule, then use an authorized service available where you are watching. In the United States, eligible MLB.TV subscribers can authenticate a participating pay TV provider to watch select FOX, FS1, and TBS games live; Peacock Wild Card games are not live on MLB.TV. Outside the U.S., MLB says postseason games are available live through MLB.TV except in Canada, where Sportsnet and TVA Sports are the listed rightsholders.
Find the broadcaster for the game you want to watch
There is no single streaming route for every playoff game. The broadcaster assigned to the specific game determines where its live video is available, and assignments can change as the postseason advances. Check the MLB postseason schedule for the game and its listed outlet before choosing a service.
Use the route that matches both the broadcaster and the country where you are physically watching. A service or subscription that works at home may not provide the same access after you travel across a border.

Watching in the United States
For select games carried by FOX, FS1, or TBS, MLB.TV offers live viewing to eligible subscribers who authenticate a participating pay TV provider. Check MLB’s postseason viewing instructions to confirm whether your provider participates and how to sign in. If you are away from home, you will need access to those provider credentials.

Do not assume an MLB.TV subscription by itself includes live video of every U.S. playoff game. If the schedule lists another broadcaster, use that broadcaster’s authorized access option for your location.
Watching outside the United States and Canada
MLB says postseason games are available live through its international MLB.TV offering outside Canada. Check the international postseason package details and the applicable territory restrictions for the country where you are watching. Local broadcast rights can affect which service is available there.

Watching in Canada
MLB.TV’s international postseason live access excludes Canada. MLB lists Sportsnet and TVA Sports as Canadian postseason rightsholders; check the international broadcasters list and each network’s current schedule to find the game and its authorized viewing route.
Know the Peacock Wild Card exception
Wild Card Series games carried by NBC or Peacock are not available for live viewing through MLB.TV, including for eligible subscribers who can authenticate a pay TV provider for other select postseason games. Use the authorized access route offered by the broadcaster listed for that game. MLB says audio and full-game archives for the relevant postseason offering become available 90 minutes after the game concludes; that delay does not provide live video.

Use audio or an archive if live video is unavailable
If you cannot access a live video stream, MLB’s postseason viewing guidance says live audio and full-game archives are available through the relevant MLB.TV postseason offering. Full-game archives become available 90 minutes after the game ends, so they are a replay option rather than a way to watch live.

- Look up the exact game on MLB’s current postseason schedule and note its broadcaster.
- Confirm the country where you will be watching and check that outlet’s rights and current schedule for that territory.
- If you are in the U.S. and the game is on FOX, FS1, or TBS, verify that your pay TV provider participates in MLB.TV authentication and that you can sign in while traveling.
- If the game is a Peacock Wild Card broadcast, choose the broadcaster’s authorized live option rather than relying on MLB.TV video.
- If you are in Canada, check Sportsnet or TVA Sports; MLB.TV international live postseason access does not apply there.
Use official broadcaster and MLB access options. MLB’s viewing guidance does not establish location-masking methods as an authorized way to bypass territory restrictions.
