Keep the phone cool, too. The best settings depend on your ColorOS version, and no setting guarantees a fixed number of extra hours.
1. Find what is using the battery
Open Settings > Battery and review the consumption details. Menu names and available controls vary by ColorOS version; if the path differs, search Settings for “Battery” or check Settings > About Phone (or About Device) to identify your software version. If one app is consuming much more power than you expect, first update it. If the drain continues, reduce its background activity or restrict it if your phone offers that control. Restrictions can delay notifications or stop background functions, so avoid applying them indiscriminately to apps you rely on.
2. Reduce screen power use
Lower brightness and shorten screen timeout

Consider a lower refresh rate
OPPO’s Denmark and Thailand specifications list adaptive 60, 90, and 120 Hz refresh rates for the A7 Pro 5G. If your software build offers a refresh-rate control, choosing a lower setting may reduce display demand, with a trade-off in scrolling and animation smoothness. Use the labels and options available on your own phone; regional specifications do not establish that every market or software version exposes the same control. 3. Choose a power-saving mode that fits the situation

4. Cut back on sustained high-drain activities when runtime matters
You do not need to avoid normal phone use, but long sessions of demanding activity can use power quickly. When you need to get through the day on one charge, shorten or pause:
- GPS navigation, especially during a long trip.
- Hotspot use.
- Video or music streaming over a mobile connection.
- Extended camera sessions.
- Graphics-heavy games.

5. Keep the phone cool and charge normally
A hot phone can drain faster even when it is idle, and heat can damage the battery. Avoid leaving the handset in hot places, particularly while it is fully charged. 6. Know which battery and charging specifications apply to your market
OPPO’s official regional pages give different figures for the A7 Pro 5G, even though both identify model CPH2931. Treat them as market-specific specifications, not one universal configuration.

7. When to seek a battery assessment
If the phone still drains unusually fast after you check app use and adjust settings, charging is inconsistent, or it no longer lasts through the day, contact OPPO regional support or an authorized service location to ask about battery condition. OPPO lists these kinds of symptoms as reasons to consider replacement; this is an escalation for suspected deterioration, not a routine first step. OPPO support
OPPO’s Saudi Arabia product page also describes an OPPO Lab simulation in which battery capacity remained above 80% after six years under a simulated full charge-discharge cycle every 1.3 days. The page says actual results vary with network configuration, usage, software version, and test conditions; this is a manufacturer simulation, not a prediction or guarantee for an individual phone. The same page’s standby, scrolling, gaming, and video-call endurance figures are OPPO test claims subject to its stated caveats, not expected real-world results for every owner.
